We would all love to have a team full of Aguero’s and De Bruyne’s in our fantasy team but unfortunately, it’s difficult to squeeze in more than three or four of them without blowing your budget.
As a result, we have taken a look at some value picks which may just edge you ahead of your mates and get you climbing up your league in no time at all. We will also advise you on who to potentially avoid, with certain teams having a tough run in the coming weeks.
BUY – PUKKI
This one may be more obvious than it sounds, but Norwich have continued to score goals, even in the Premier League, all thanks to their main man up top.
The Finnish striker has picked up where he left off last campaign, and has already bagged a hat-trick and looks full of confidence. He even scored against Liverpool at Anfield with a smart finish and despite his value slowly increasing, he is definitely one to squeeze in while in-form. If Norwich are to score, it is likely to be their star man up top.
BUY – CEBALLOS
The Arsenal midfielder who has arrived on loan from Real Madrid has proven to be an instant hit with the Gunners fanbase and he is one to consider for your fantasy team.
Not only did he claim two assists on his debut against Burnley, but he is also still available for less than £6 million. With Pepe, Lacazette and Aubameyang to feed, there is no doubt the young Spaniard will be collecting points in no time.
For some reason, Zidane wasn’t willing to give him a chance this campaign. But Madrid’s loss is very much Arsenal’s gain. La Liga betting suggests Real Madrid can in fact challenge for the title this season, after failing to land any kind of blow last season, finishing 19 points behind Barcelona.
BUY – DIGNE
Everton have started the season strongly and that is largely due to their defence. But when it comes to your fantasy team, it’s good to have a defender who likes to score a goal or two. Well, look no further than Digne.
Not only is he part of a side who will keep a few clean sheets this season, this set-piece taker knows where the back of the net is. Admittedly, he isn’t the cheapest, but this will allow you to choose more Man City and Liverpool players further up the pitch, which is always a bonus.
AVOID – CHELSEA DEFENDERS
Chelsea are in worrying form at present. Held at home to Sheffield United, blown away by Manchester United and dominated by Leicester. Since selling Eden Hazard and not being able to replace him due to a transfer ban of their own, it has been a difficult start for Frank Lampard. Chelsea have been leaking left, right and centre, and if it is clean sheets you want, we’d advise looking elsewhere.
Every point is crucial when it comes to organising your fantasy team. Hopefully, these pointers can help you continue your form to reach the top.
