Liverpool's Barclays Premier League encounter with Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok Stadium on Sunday, October 31 will now kick-off at 4pm.

The match will still be shown live on Sky Sports but this replaces the original start time of 1.30pm.

(according to my print out from BBC, the NE derby should be at 4pm that day, maybe moved/swapped due to police advice?????)

Correct

Newcastle United's Premier League fixture versus Sunderland, scheduled to be played on 31st October - kick off 4.00 pm and broadcast live on Sky Sports will now kick off at 1.30 pm on the same date. The match will still be broadcast live on Sky Sports at this new kick-off time.
This change of kick-off time has been made by the Premier League at the request of Northumbria Police.

April May move?

Post by SamD »

The royal wedding on Friday 29 April may create some policing/logistic issues for two major league games currently set for Sat 30 April in London:
Arsenal v Manchester United; Chelsea v Tottenham

One or both matches could move to the Sunday or even the Bank Hol Monday. But if any or all four clubs reach the Champions League semi-finals, they'll also be expected to fit in the first leg on Tue-Wed 26-27 April and the second one on Tue-Wed 3-4 May (see grid two posts up).

A new date has been fixed for Blackpool's Barclays Premier League match against Manchester United.

The encounter at Bloomfield Road will now be played on Tuesday 25th January with a 7.45pm kick-off.

The fixture was due to be played on 4th December but was postponed because of a frozen pitch.

The rearranged Blackpool v Man Utd league game on Tues 25 Jan will still be televised by ESPN. Kick-off time, unusually, is currently showing as 19:30 GMT.

The BBC is due to broadcast Arsenal v Ipswich at 19:45 that evening (Carling Cup semi-final 2nd leg).
