Week 21

Post by Ashers »

I have set a team up for this, but not sure what league to enter.

Has anyone on here won any prize money?

Any tips?

Most people put them in the £5 or £2 guaranteed though the smaller leagues may give you a better chance of a return so you could try 2 - 1 in the guaranteed and 1 in a smaller league.

Will this only take place if 5 or more games get played and if less than 5 get paid, do people who have already entered teams get refunded? Bit cold this week isn't it?!

If it stays how it is then they will be loads of games called off. Not sure what will happen as to teams already entered, would have thought we'd get a refund or it will go ahead if a certain amount of games are on.........over to you stakesy.... :)

Ashers - best bet is to do about 3 teams and stick them in the £2 public league - try not to make them to similar :)

Hi chaps,

It is safe to enter leagues as normal. If less than 50% of the games go ahead then all stakes and fees are automatically refunded.

Working out which matches will be on is an added dimension to your selection dilemmas! :D

Wigan have said their match with Aston Villa will go ahead, while the games at Arsenal, Birmingham and Hull are all set to go ahead provided the safety of spectators attending the fixtures can be guaranteed.

games already off

Burnley OFF Stoke,
Fulham OFF Portsmouth,
Sunderland OFF Bolton,

liverpool is close to being called off

man city and west ham games still unknown

Should make for an interesting week :D Had already picked my players and not included any from games that were at risk - hoping for an advantage  seems everybody will have an advantage now. We're all going to have the same players

Unfortunately, yes - I've just posted this message on the site:

Dear FS Players

The relevant part of our terms and conditions states the following:

Cancellation of Matches

If any matches are postponed during a Round the following will apply. If less than 50% of the planned games take place then the Round is cancelled and all bets refunded. If 50% or more of the planned games take place then the Round will go ahead.

As 6 matches have been postponed, the round is now cancelled and all stakes and fees have been refunded.

See you next week!

Gutted, I thought I was onto a winner on thursday/friday when I entered all my teams made up of Arsenal/everton/Birmingham/Man Utd and Man City players................knew the Fiso gang would be on this but thought a lot of the average punters would have kept their teams the same and thus had half a team not playing......

Will this round be included in the game at a later date if at least 5 of the rearranged fixtures are played together?

Hi Chris,

We'll wait and see, but your guess is right - if there are a whole load of rearranged fixtures for a midweek we'd look at doing something for that. If it's just the odd game we wouldn't add it to a weekend.
