Pretty close in the end. That R Johnson 8 points had me worried. But I think I just scraped home with Bents 8 and Cahill's 8

Basically everyone in the league still has something to play for with just 2 games remaining.

Spoogehead is almost promoted. A win next week against 2nd placed Rainycat would definitely confirm it. Such a result would of course put a massive spanner in Rainycat's hopes as 3 teams are all vying for the runners up spot.

Any 2 from 5 can still go down.

Pretty even I'd say after todays games, although I'd guess Spoogeheads bham players would be more likely to pick up extra points tham my players.

Congratulations to Spoogehead. He confirms beyond doubt what we all suspected and waltzes off with the title with a game to spare.

Runner-up spot is potentially a 5 way battle.

DC and Pa are favourites to go down, although it is still possible to avoid the drop (albeit very unlikely).

We already knew Spooge was champion, it was a case of whether Rainycat could join him or not. Both he and Luton registered the necessary victotry's, but Rainy's far superior goal difference sees him promoted to the Championship.

At the bottom, it was a tense battle. Rainy's win over Superior had cast some doubt over his survival, but with a far superior goal difference, he was never genuinely at risk.

So it was a three horse race between Pa, DC and Natedogg as to who went down.
Pa was the first to slip away.... although he was doomed after his opening 4 fixtures (and straight defeats); its commendable that he took it to the last game of the season.

So in the boom or bust encounter between last seasons cup finalists, DC yet again got the upper hand. Natedogg joins Pa in Division 2.

A final mention for Luton's Legal Eagle. The top scorer in the division but unfortunate in the fixtures. The promoted 2 should be buying a drink for the fixture compiler
