Great start in the cup, those Reading players did you proud, I prevaricated on Kebe last night...and kept my powder dry, clearly a mistake!

Perhaps an unassailable lead for you now - 82 to my 46. I need to make up 36 pts in a week! Not confident about that. Great work so far! Even my campaign for Brunt's assist did me no favours!

The team has developed over the last month or so with play-offs in mind and with varible team players in those areas so as to try and accomodate a few players at least for the final. Though, one is thinking a push on with Royals players, just incase they keep climbing and pick Cardiff to 6th. Sounds unlikely, well probably, but check the fixtures out.
Not too many games left now though, so a pick of the correct points player or two to get you to the end of season will be the winning hand.

I brought Bruno Berner in today after seeing the team sheets, believing that Leics could keep a clean sheet against Stead and co despite Coventry's form. Switch on BBC, Berner has pulled out after injuring himself in the warm-up.

Well, I threw the kitchen sink at it this weekend, and lost to farmerbob by 7 points in the end. Close but no cigar! Even if I had made the final I wouldn't have had many transfers to play with.
Well played Farmerbob - did you bring Whittingham in yesterday?
My biggest mistake in the 2 weeks was to go for a Helguson 3-1 over Carroll in week 1. Carroll scored in the '1' while Helguson failed to score in the run of three Watford home games (including Ipswich and Peterborough) perhaps I let my heart rule my head with the hornets legend?!
If I had used those 2 transfers better I could have come a bit closer.

Thanks for the game you were very unlucky tommymooney, it was a real game of two halves. Quite a performance from you last weekend, 23rd in the overall weekly league. With such a big lead from the first leg I didn't make any special changes this week and almost lost it. I'll probably need to concentrate a bit more for the final.

Re: TFFCH 2009-10: Telegraph Championship * £12 Prize League *
Apologies for not posting before.
Fantasy Sport and FISO had to take a back seat for the past 6 months following a personal tragedy. I'm back playing now, not because it matters but to take my mind off things. It meant I had a lot of transfers to get through in recent weeks, hense my sudden rise up the table and cup success.
Anyway, now seems as good a time as any to start posting again, so best of luck in the Final Farmerbob. I've saved a few transfers to keep it interesting.

TFFCH 2009-10 Prize League update
Welcome back, NFG.
Week 33 of 41 (games to Mon 29 March)
Five managers amass 70 or more points this time:
Jester, 80, axel, 73, SOBD & Chief Wiggsy, 72, and NFG, 70.
Little movement in the top ten of the Championship, suggesting teams may hold similar line-ups?
- leading three remain the same: Chief Wiggsy, 1,463, melvin, 1,418, and farmerbob, 1,384
- fourth and fifth swap rungs: Jester, 1,367, and kcboing, 1,354
- and sixth to tenth are also unchanged.
The League Cup Final covers weeks 34-35, that's Tues 30 March to Mon 12 April.
Scores are identical after first three of the 39 games:
