If Jester doesnt log in and is "sacked" then you would still play his team, they would just be managerless and run by the computer. Dixie will then be able to "apply" and will take over as soon as Spirey logs in and approves it as League Admin.

What's the best thing to do - log in and select a bona fide line-up, then let Spirey replace me with DD, or just let myself get sacked?

technically i can sack you anythime i like, and you can resign anytime in the team setting page. lets try and mail DD someone to see if he wants your team first

My apologies - I just haven't has time for what is really quite an involved game.

Happy to let DD take over my place.

it actually isnt that involved once you get the rules learnt. When you are "au fait" with everything i can do all i need to in 5 minutes per day and i have 6 teams. But I appreciate that getting to know the games little idiosyncracies does take a little time intially

I just picked up a superb 3-1 win with a stunning hattrick.
It's a tricky game to get right and although I am far from knowing it I am very happy with my teams performance so far.
Just wish there wasn't so long between matches!
I even start to get nervous when kickoff approaches.

Yes, just too busy to post. The Fancy Dans are now 3 games unbeaten with a tricky fixture at the Bird's Nest coming up - I may have a surprise or two up my sleeve...

I'm quite pleased with my season so far.
It seems a pretty tight league as we have no runaway leader and no team stranded at the bottom

everyone started with equal teams this season. So it should be quite close as your tactical nous can only have so much effect.

As seasons go by you tend to see a gap opening as the change reports separate teams. It is the be abll abnd end all of the game

Lets hope tobeat Karrde next week to make it a 3 horse race instead of 2

I'm back for next season.
Last few games of this season I'm experimenting with formations, making sure players get enough match experience etc
Next season I will come back stronger and better.....perhaps

Its an interesting balance for me. As I near the end of my first season, im struggling to get the balance between going for the results I need while making sure my fringe players get to play... I think im going to finish the season with some veterans missing out on match time.

Probably sack them so they dont make my change report look ugly

Solid base for you to build on next season Spence. Definately wont take much tweaking for you to be right up there!!!

From everything ive gathered, the key now is to ensure that form is high thoughout the squad, and that all your players (especially the young ones) play enough games to get their experience bar to 100% then we wait for the end of season change report to see how our squad has improved.

Still cant believe that git retired at 29  im glad he got a season ending injury and doesnt get a nice send off from the fans

Great fun to play.
I need to play my other players now to get the experience up.
I need to sack a couple of players and as 1 is retiring it means I can bring in 2-3 players of which at least one must be a forward

Spirey is on his holidays at the moment, he would normally be the man. Higgi and I have some admin rights, no idea how to use them though.

Though having registered an interest, no way we would kick off season 2 without you :D
