Petrenko, Walker, and Otten all looking handy. Unfortunately I have none of them on the ground

Presti and Tippett have managed to get back to top form by round one

Can`t see Hentschel breaking 30 :(

He would have been gone if I had been able to pick Higgins as a forward before the site died

Still, you can`t have it all can you :)

He played for Chelsea didn't he?

Adelaide playing a pretty hard running game so no surprise that Collingwood came right back into it in that 2nd quarter. A quick breather for Adelaide and we'll see if they can lift the intensity again in the 3rd quarter... I suspect they'll run out of steam and Collingwood will take this game over.

Just a bump in the face. He'll be alright.

It's looking like 1800 will be a good score for me this week. :( On the plus side I've got Daniel Rich - and that lad is going to be a star.

indeed, rich looks the goods mate. Rising star fav too- dont waste any money betting on anyone else unless he's injured . Great lineup of rookies, mitch robinson is a tough little bigger who scraps for it all the time... looks like he'll be thereabouts this year too

Nicoski 43 - I realized he was a dud and had him as a placeholder, another one I'm blaming on the site locking up. Bradshaw however was all me and I'm gutted with his 70. Nice to see Cox and Goddard being reliable enough.

I need a big game from Brent Harvey now and hopefully I'll crack the 2000 barrier.

Yeah I know I've been whinging a lot about the site lock ups. I need to HTFU 8-)

Did the site lock you out in February SF?

I actually think Nicoski's a reasonable buy. Not for me, although he was on my shortlist early on. If he goes on the sort of run he did at the start of last season he could be a cash cow.

I had a stump team entered that consisted of affordable players that look guaranteed to play. I thought I'd be able to get in once the first round teams were confirmed and replace them with the rookie stars. We'll see how round 2 goes.

In SC I've got Shaun Higgins (WB) as a mid but a lot of people seem to have him as a forward - have I dropped a bollock?

What's with players been in the mids and having (FWD) next to their name, just make them a forward if they are a forward.

I believe that refers to any positions that they've played in even if now they specialize in only one position now. I also put Higgins as a mid. I think lots of people put him as a FWD because they're aren't many bargain forwards compared to mids.

Doh, Harvey was tagged and got a poor result - right captaincy going on Ablett from now on.

Petterd seems to have had a blast looks like a good option if anyone's dumping Raines

For mids that are also listed in another position it's generally considered best to pick them in the other position because mids tend to score higher than players in other positions. Picking a midfielder in his other position allows you to pick another midfielder, so you'll effectively have eight midfielders, or whatever.

That's what tickled me too, I picked most of my rookies based off what Tippaz and Viddle told me and then half of them never got a game.

Also that bit about Pavlich having no pre-season and Deledio getting tagged every week - genius
