Satellite dish problem.
For a while now our Sky has been stuttering, especially when the wind gets up. I strongly suspect it's a problem with the dish and that it is slightly out of alignment, and am prepared to try to fix it myself - problem is I wouldn't have a clue what I was doing. I had thought it would be as simple as forcebly moving the dish until we received a stronger signal, but I suspect that this may not be the case and I'll have to call in an ariel chap.
Anyone done this before, or have any knowledge. All feedback would be much appreciated

Tests your signal strength - just done mine and the grey bars are only half way but picture is perfect.
Mine only 'stutters' if it chucks it down with rain. Once every few months here but guess that is about every half hour ooop your way

Thanks lads
I've also found out this site which should make things easy when I get round to it at the weekend - http://www.uksatellitehelp.co.uk/2007/0 ... y-digital/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. I will also check the strength of the signal tomorrow, but I've been in bed since eight and can't be arsed going down the stairs.

Actually it was his new neighbours repositioning his dish so he could no longer pick up Dutch porn channelsuncsi wrote:well ledgie, that's what you get when you try to reposition your dish to pick up Dutch porn channels
