Very glad  . Would have been all over. Now ALL you have to do is keep that lead for the next two weeks before the cup final.
Now what shall I do with my last tranny?? :)

Defoe and Saha :)
I'll bet you're very relieved that MU managed to keep Ars out and that Everton let WHU in :!:
Going right to the end then Neill 8-)

Looks like it have been at work this afternoon so did think I had extended my lead with the MU clean sheet, a real bonus for you with Saha.

I am considering that my last tranny might be to lose CR7 if he's gonna be rested 8-)
And talking of resting it'll be interersting to see just how many of our players are in and get a game this weekend, but I'm now glad I aint got three Mu players  Its gonna be close :)

They could make me a few (and not just in this game). :)
Obviously very different strategies Neill but very close.

I have decided to make my last tranny tonight - just in case!
And it is Cr7 out and Arshavin in :!:  :!: We'll see. Maybe he'll score four again :) ...
...or maybe he'll be on the bench
It was between him, Gerrard, Fab, Pedersen and Young (A)!!

Well all down to cup final weekend and I'll guess you're looking for a few goals - preferably not scored by Saha or Drog
Have to admit you had a very unlucky weekend with so many not playing, but guess you're thankful for a Torres goal to keep you hanging onto top spot. And Arshavin wasn't my most inspired tranny
There's a very interesting post from Rui Marques on the YTM section of FISO about how he ''lost'' £100k this season - he's feeling very cheesed off as he felt he was the best player this year in the main game cuz he was in the top three from Nov to April and therefore feels he lost it. Not true of course because we know its a season long game really and he fell back a few weeks ago having used his trannies and still had Jags in, but (as much as the finances are different, he should try being you in this - leading all the way from day one, but still having that nuisance person trying to hang onto his tails all season  :) .
Well done Neill, cuz you have played this very well this season and you do deserve to win it overall really and if you don't it'll be down really to the vagaries of end of season 'resting' etc.
Finally though interesting to note we both dumped RVP at the same time - only for him to play every other game since and have his scoring boots on  . I reckon if one of us had have kept him we might have had this game sewn up :!:
Thanks for the game though, its been fun and really what FISO games are all about. :)
Cheers Keith

I feel now that you will win with appearance points alone, as you say I need goals next week but by players you don't have. You have played very well your gamble with the FA cup has been a very good one for my part I tried to keep things simple as I had the lead and it has turned out to be a real good battle. Looking at the £10 league we would have been 1st & 2nd in that as well.

Didn't watch the game today. Weather was so nice I went out and played golf and had a few beers!! Never used to miss the cup final but ....!
I just want to say bad luck and well played. You have led all season and played really well and then some whippersnapper who started to become a pain after Christmas pips you after the PL season is over
I'll concede that overall I think you were the better player but a mix of resting and luck changed the result. Thanks though for a great game and all the best for next season
regards

I also did not watch the game, played golf in the morning had a few beers and went to bed in the afternoon as we had a night out planned last night.
I feel the way you have played this game has been excellent you were so far behind that you could have given up but you didn't you had a good idea of what my side was and took a gamble transfering players in that could benefit you with the FA Cup which in the end paid off. SAF did cost me with the last game of the season but that is part of the game nowadays players get rested so without a doubt you deserve your win as the saying goes the table don't lie.Well played and I will be looking for revenge next year :)
