Young Charlie has been sleeping most of today so after setting up Pokertracker on my PC I decided to update my November records :D

Then I added a couple of charts, printed them out, framed them, hung them on the wall.......

Image

I'm one decent cash away from a $10K profit for the year. Come on Nutstar you can do it! :D

I was playing around with some numbers at the weekend - a good time was had by all

Through my detailed records I kept at the beginning of 2008 and the details on the OPR site I worked out that last year I played online poker on 174 nights  Almost every other day for a whole year - I hope the Mrs never reads this  It works out at on any given day there was a 47.67% chance I played online. To include live poker you'd have to throw in 3 FISO meets, a nuts league season and few visits to the casino and I officially play poker on more days than I don't 8-)

So these 174 nights, I reckon on average any given night is a 5 hour stint for me. Normally start around 7pm and average finish time about midnight. Thats nearly 17 hours a week and a total of 870 hours in the year :D

Total profit $9,154 divided by 870 hours gives me an hourly rate of about - $10.52. Thats more than I'd get for flippin burgers so that'll do for me :D

I drink 80% of the time I play at an average intake of 12 units of alcohol per poker session....... ah forget it

I've just had a quick look, I didn't realise there was so much there - problem is I haven't won since I installed PT3 so all my figs are negative

20 days left on my trial I need to turn things around quicksmart!

I'll be playing most nights this week but I'm away all next week with work. I'm going to speak to my boss this week to see if I can go and get one of those mobile broadband thingys for work. If I get a yay for that, holy shit I'll be playing a lot of Poker!

You can produce a chart from every Stars tournie you've played up & running in 10 mins.

Not sure if it can handle all those re-buys :D -You'll have to manually adjust for those.

2009 :D

January - -$457.60 :(
February - +$530.29 :D

Overall - +$72.69 :|

Not a great start to the year, but if it wasn't for my 5th place finish in one of Laddies $10K added events for $1K it would be a hell of a lot worse

I was desperate to get playing after Newcastles forum event but I've been suffering badly all week.

Still, today is the start of a new month and in a really stange sort of way I always seem to be more focused at the beginning of the month as its a clean slate. :?

Good Luck me :D

I've been having a torrid time at the tables for the best part of 3 months (that means I've been breaking even  ) and I don't mind admitting earlier tonight I was running good - including my QQ beating AQ getting allin on an Ace high flop then hitting my 1 outer on the river  add in several other - AQ beats KK, 88 beats 10 10, AK beats KK type hands :D

So I'm running deep in a few tourneys, on Stars down to about 90 players from over 4,000 starters. I'm about average and I get KK, the guy next to me has me covered and wakes up with Aces  I'm out for about $50 :|

In the laddies $3 rebuy (my old flame) we're down to the last 5. I'm coming 5th, but 1 double and I'll be chip leader. I get it all in with my 10 10 v 55 flop comes 10 8 6 :D Turn 9, River 7 and we chop the pot  I few hands later I lose a flip (my 22 v A6) and I'm out in 5th for $150

Back to Stars. A 180 runner $20 freezeout......

Dear Nutstar,
You finished the tournament in 1st place. A $1,080.00 award has been credited to your Real Money account.

Yeah baby! 8-)

I would also like to add that its no coincidence that this victory comes about a week after I started watching Bond videos on Pokersavvy. No coincidence whatsoever 8-) I he was a woman I'd have zero hesitation in proposing marraige

Armed with my Bond videos I'm expecting big things in the coming weeks :D

Pasty, Bond does training videos for Pokersavvy plus. I qualified for membership by joining Full Tilt poker and playing about $200 worth of MTTs - that would take you about 1 weekend if you could find a way to get some money deposited  There is a thread in here about it I think its called 'PokerSavvy'.

March 2009 - +$682.01

Another winning month 8-) And another month inlcuding a 4 figure score 8-) (see two posts up)

Still not quite reaching the heady heights I set myself last year, and last year I had a great April and May, but it'll be all systems go for the next couple of months to see if I can beat my PB cash in an MTT.

:D
