1. Thou shalt always read the rules thoroughly.
2. Thou shalt covet thy transfers, and shalt not Tinker.
3. Thou shalt pick a balanced team, and maintain flexibility in all positions.
4. Thou shalt, however, pick Thierry Henry
5. Thou shalt not worship 'Carlos Kickaball' until he has proven himself in the EPL.
6. Thou shalt remember that Form is Temporary, Class is permanent.
7. Thou shalt not let thy heart rule thy head, nor make any judgements after drinking !
8. Thou shalt have no other forums but FISO
9. Thou shalt remember that Fantasy Football is more akin to a Marathon, than a Sprint
10. Thou shalt remember that all commandments are there to be broken

As someone who has never posted my team, aside from the FISO XI or Egg Cup game because my team was full of 'secret weapons' I always thought that, if not a commandment, then a rule that should be acknowledged at least is that every sneaky little move you think you've spotted, almost everyone else has saw it too. Posted Vidic for Lescott on the Egg Cup thread and even my big head knows that it isnt me that started a landslide, it was a simple move EVERYBODY SAW. Are there no sneaky moves left in this game?

I think the commandments are pretty clear once again.

1. Thou shalt always read the rules thoroughly.
2. Thou shalt covet thy transfers, and shalt not Tinker.
3. Thou shalt pick a balanced team, and maintain flexibility in all positions.
4. Thou shalt, however, pick Cristiano Ronaldo.

Unfortunately, the links, don't work, and I can't remember why:

"Thou shalt, however, pick Thierry Henry".

Was it simply that his price and points broke the points per million (PpM) idea; or that it was impossible to get to the price constraint without him ie PpM is only effective if the whole budget is spent?

It was because he was so good.

Slightly diluted Henry/Haaland factor these days with the points tweaks (AKA dumbing down) for conceding/cards/tackle/saves and even transfer numbers etc which minimise the benefits of having a play every week points magnet.

But that's negated by the other players?

Do you remember if there was any maths/logic to the Henry thing?

I can only think that PpM only works if the whole amount is spent, and it (somehow) means less the more expensive the player is.

All non Henry-Haalands score more because of the points changes over 10-15 years therefore the superstars are less ahead of the mortals.
