►►Divisional Championships Season 22

Post by Oxford NZ »

Welcome to the 22nd season of the FISO Divisional Championships.

We are starting with 123 players spread over 6 leagues (Premiership, Championship, League 1, League 2, National league and Sunday league).
Link to Season 22 Registration and qualification table

Link to Season 22 Round 1 tables

Link to Hall of fame

Rules will be the same as previously; if it works, why change..? :)

7 rounds of 5 game weeks, with promotion and relegation at the end of each round, we start this week (FPL GW4).

All that is required to play is to be a FISO member and have a valid FPL id.
Multiple team entries from an individual will not be allowed.
Registration is open all season and new players are more than welcome.
New players will be added to the Sunday league at the start of the next round.
Scoring
Traditional FPL scoring, the data for the GW points is taken directly from the FPL website for each manager including hit cost, apart from the first GW of each round where players get unlimited transfers at the start of each round, the other four GW's hit costs will be deducted from the GW score.

Tiebreakers
1. Fewest Transfers in the Round.
2. H2H wins for each GW in the Round between the tied teams 1 point for a GW win 0 points for a loss or draw.
3. Overall FPL points for the whole FPL season to date.
4. Admins decision will be the final tie breaker but the manager having a lower FPL ID is not too bad if it gets to this point, and better than a virtual coin toss.
Team of the season points are earned by high finishing places throughout the season, A premiership win earns the most points, but points are still earned for gaining a promotion place in the lower divisions.

As this is the 22nd season I will put up a FISO mug to awarded to the team of the season winner.

Stay tuned for the next exciting instalment, and good luck all.

I can scrape the data for last week, but this weeks will not be available until after the FPL GW4 deadline, when the game resets.
My guess, it will be a Chelsea player who gets the most captain selections this week. Have a look at the sheet at about 13.30 and it should give the captain selections then.

Greetings! 8-)

Hmm, shouldn't this thread be under FPL Links, Mini-Leagues & Side Games subforum?

And I noticed that you have missed 1 player under GW player ownership tab, namely Andrews who I happen to have in my team  Admittedly should get rid of him asap tho as he was loaned out but haven't managed yet due to various reasons...

Changed the table as it was not showing the last bench player for your squad, but time to shift him out now.

Nice, yup, I see that the table has been updated and he's been added but I'm the only manager here who has him :)
And yea, gotta sell him but I also need to get rid of Kitching who was also loaned out, so gotta decide who goes first...
But what's interesting is that I have 4 players in total who are only in my team, I can't remember having more than 2-3 in the past! And the other 2 can actually be good differentials

Bruno G is only in one team as well, a nice differential with that goal today.
What a shame he is in primitive man's squad, ironically an avid Sunderland supporter

A nice start to the season! This week’s score even included a bonus of 5 points when I (by mistake) started Gvardiol over Konsa… if you czn’t be good, be lucky :D

More importantly… thanks again for running this comp ONZ, it’s very much appreciated.

Gotta say pretty good start for my Pro Ukrainian FC in the mud...khm...sunday league, nicely in 2nd! :D It was also by far my best gw of the season so far, now have to keep it going! Btw my 3rd unique player scored 4 pts, so not as good as Guimaraes (7) but not too shabby either

Kudos to Polarbear, 103 by the Cubs without using any chips is impressive, you defo deserve to be on top of the division! (y)
And 108 by Hogs is great too ofc, tho 3x captain helped a bit here!

League 1 is going to be very hard to gain a promotion from even not getting relegated will be a good achievement if those kind scores continue.

It is brave move but you have a very good squad getting the right captain most weeks will be key as always . I can"t see me having Bruno F in my team with me having Haaland but it makes the game better with different players in our squads

Haaland sits in 88% of squads in the divisionals, on a good week just having him in the squad and not using him as captain will see a decent drop in rank.
Bruno at 30% ownership will boost your rank dramatically with a haul. I does seem however that playing the percentages, with the differentials further down the price scale is the way to play this season. I am personally looking to WC with a Bruno, Pedro, Haaland squad. Palmer is too expensive atm, but it will be an interesting season to work out the balance between premium and form selections.
Apologies for the rambling post, it is the end of a long day, but sort of motivated to make some strategy for the run in to International breaks.

I got rid of Bruno last night as well :)

Now have over £4m in the bank and no free transfers.

I'm going to message Howard Webb and demand those 7 extra points Haaland stole over the weekend to be removed.

It's bad enough him scoring literally every City goal, but getting illegal donations on top as well ?!, cannot be having that.

I needed those captaincy points i have still not got over week 2 Haaland 26 points playing first and thinking Bruno would struggle to beat that score and if he did not by many points but he got 46 points and not having him even my squad really hurt .

If you were a honourable man, you would give me those Haaland points. :)

I'm not even sure why I'm doing this to myself, Just looked at his price and thought " nope ", but im opening myself to a world of FPL pain here.

Looking at my squad, I could easily replace my 2 Liverpool players with Haaland and Rogers and replacing Saka for Odegaard.

I would need to find 0.2 but there are plenty of options to do that.

The obvious upside which is bound to happen is ... Haaland blanks for 15 straight games.

I think i would have Haaland and Rogers mate if it t is that easy to get him . Saka owners got a bit lucky with a very i late injury time pen last week .

I could not agree more, makes perfect sense.

But this season, I've chosen the path that makes zero sense, just to try something different.

I'm not quite so bold with my Fanteam selections though.

Points coming in for some of us with Brentford or Chelsea assets. Top score of 13 points split 3 ways ( like chelsea) by aardvark, MTPockets and Gambit, average is 3.
A few hits taken this week ( also like Chelsea),
