Good man i was going to put you and all the first 41 in the list in anyway since you all play in the terminator league and it seemed very unlikely anyone on that list would not want to play but it is nice when you have it confirmed someone wants to play .

I thought it would be nice to have a new rounded keeper league competition for regular FPL posters . Not a 38 game week league like we had before . My idea is to have two 19 week seasons and we can have promotion and Relegation to make it more exciting and fun . I would do regular updates on the league postions if possible every week .

First season weeks 1 to 19 everybody would start in the premier league and our champion would be the player who scores the most points in the first 19 weeks . The top 30 in the league would stay in the premier league for season 2 . Everybody points would be reset to zero for season 2 which would obviously be weeks 20 to 38 but at the end of week 38 the players who finish between 26 and 30 in the league would be relegated for the 27-28 season .

All the players who finish out of the top 30 in weeks 1 to 19 would be in the newly formed championship and the top 5 in the championship league which starts in week 20 and finishes at the end of week 38 would be promoted for the start of the 27 -28 season .

All points scored by everybody in the first two weeks and obviously the third week will be included in season 1 . I have not got time to invite everyone so i am giving the following 41 players entry to the league if any of those 41 don"t want to be in the league i will take them out if they ask but hopefully you will all want be in the league .

If anybody who is a regular FPL poster who wants to join my league who is not on the 41 player list so far let me know i will let you play in my league but please have your FPL button up to date then i can see your points .

I am quoting most of my original post to remind people how i want to run the league plus it saves me writing 41 names down .

So that is it for now until i find out if anyone else wants to join the league . If we stay at 47 players i want to do 30 players in the premier league and 17 in the championship so a final reminder season 1 finishes when all the matches in week 19 have been played .

If in the unlikely event we finish up with more than 50 players i will expand the premier league to whatever number we pass 50 by . I want 5 players to be promoted and 5 relegated each season to make it more exciting and give people something to play for .

A quick update we now have 48 players with Egeways joining the league .

Now we have 48 players if we don"t get anymore players i would like to expand the premier league from 30 to 32 players in week 20 for season 2 . The championship would still have 16 players which is more than good enough to have good league .In the unlikely event but i hope we do get to 50 players i would like to make it 35 premier league players and 15 championship players .

Anyway we will see if anybody else wants to join but time is running out as i want to do the l first league table as soon as possible .

I have decided to close the league now i think if the people who not replied to my invites by now had wanted to play they would have .

We will have 48 players in the Rounded Keeper premier League for season 1 Game Weeks 1 to 19 . At the end of game week 19 we will have our first champion and all the top 32 players will remain in the premier league and the remaining 16 players will form the rounded keeper championship .

Everybody will start with Zero points in both divisions starting in season 2 which obviously is week 20 and the players who finish between 28 to 32 in the premier league will be relegated for the start of the 27-28 season . The top 5 in the championship will be promoted .

I want to do the league tables either later today or tomorrow if possible .

It is annoying keep seeing my players dropping in price my team value will be awful if any my players who i don"t want to sell get injured . I have 3 of the most 5 sold in week 4 and was forced into selling Tzolis a week earlier than planned yesterday i had intended to sell him in week 5 but i was benchng him in week 4 so it made no sense waiting another week to lose 0.1 as i now only have the exact funds for my next planned transfer purchase.

What more do people want from Mbeumo 11 points and 8 points last two weeks he has city next game big deal they can concede a goal or two he could be involved in that and Fulham the week after hardly a difficult team to score against . Szobozlai scored one goal got defensive contribution points in week 2 got a clean sheet points plus his normal points in all 3 games for playing 60 minutes or more and plays Fulham this week being sold by lots of people.

DCL scored one goal in three game hardly bad for a 6.0 striker if he stays fit and keeps that up 12 goals after 36 games which is very good for that price . He is probably being sold for Barry who has gone up now to 5.6 half or more or Barry new owners will probably have him on the bench every time he scores .

Moan over i am fairly happy with my squad just got a few players to get rid of with free transfers over the next few weeks so i don"t need to wildcard anytime soon.

If this is a different league, a replacement for previous seasons Rounded Keeper League, then I missed it. Got to say I'm not a fan of divisions anyway for the RK as it should really be just a season long league for regs imo - wouldn't be much interested if I ended up in a lower league for the second half of the season.

Nobody was going to do the rounded keeper league this season Romyn . I did not think there was much point in doing near enough the same competition as the Arnold Invitational Terminator league which is a 38 week season long. I thought if we had two 19 week seasons it would be different and more exciting with promotions and relegation each year that why i wanted to do 32 premier league players with a 16 player championship with 5 promoted players every 19 weeks and 5 relegated i could easily be relegated as the standard is very high ..

If people dont want that then i will not bother doing it is going to be hard work for me as i have not got yours or Oxford and all the other people who run these great Fiso comps skills i thought it would nice to do something for the forum . It will take me a lot of time and effort as i have to write the scores down on paper and sort out the tables before posting the scores .

If someone else wants to take over the rounded keeper league i have 48 players we can have it how it was run before . can you sort a poll out Romyn and we can find out if people would prefer i it how it was run before i happy to play either but i not going to run it like was before .

Since i found there is some doubt people now might not want to play if there is promotion and relegation i will scrap that idea and i will run it as straight 38 week competion this season with all 48 players .

I will as promised try to update the scores each week for the 26-27 season but i will not run it for 27 -28 season .

I don't know 'what people want' - I was just asking as SP had said he wasn't going to run the RK league this season as your league, as you mention, seemed to contain all the same people anyway.

I have tried hard to get extra people to play so it would not be all the same players but some people could not be bothered to reply to my invite and one person did reply which was nice saying he did not want to play even though he plays in other FPL comps but i am fine with that at least he told me .

Stick to your original plan as it was good to start with. People who are interested will engage at some point. Also if you set up a lg on FPL it might help with making admin a bit easier. Once the lgs are split into 2 a new lg on FPL could then be set up. It's an idea anyways but onz will have wk to wk data so do what works best for you

Don't worry about people not wanting to join - I've tried a few times to get a reg to join the 5AS but no joy.

Here's an idea - might be rubbish - run The Rounded Keeper League as a normal league but also use it as a vehicle for some mini-games.

League: have some gatekeeping much like now so it's kept to 'regulars' - it is a pub league after all - and leave it open for a bit longer.

Mini-games: Side-games that only last a few weeks so the burden isn't continuous. Anyone can admin them and they can be whatever someone can come up with. I've been looking for an opportunity to try a Snail Racing idea I've had in my head for more years than I care to admit to

ok thanks Romyn and Hayesag for your ideas . I think i will keep the rounded keeper league as it used to be 38 week league this season and leave it open for anyone to join until the deadline for week 4 , It should not be too difficult for me run it like that this year .

If Oxford has the time to run the Arnold Invitational Terminator League for me next year which he may have or may not have time to run i will ask all the players who play in this years rounded keeper to play in that and then we don"t need the rounded keeper league unless someone else wants to run it which seems pointless but if they do that is fine with me ..

I l do ilke the idea of an FPL competion with promotion and relegation over 19 weeks maybe i could do a new thread and do what Hayesag said set up another league for people who want to play in that kind of comp . In the second season give people a code to join whichever league people qualify for to make admin part easier .

To clarify a little bit of this from Romyn and Arnold’s exchange.
I had run The Rounded Keeper League for the first couple of years. Talkie Toaster took it on for the last couple.
The lack of a league this year was really because he is no longer around, I was not doing any FF stuff and the season was very near.
That Arnold already ran a league in his name that included most regulars, for me, did make a difference.

Having said all of that, I do appreciate anyone willing to step up and run a league. I do have a couple of preferences for The Rounded Keeper League but didn’t want to be one of those ex-owners who kept meddling.

I have no strong view about full season or split. I have a soft preference for season long, as much because it saves a lot of admin.
My only preference - and over to you Arnold as you’re running it - but it is FISO and The Rounded Keeper. It was always set up as an FISO league, not in anyone’s name. We have a couple of leagues with your name already.
Again, I’m not going to die in a ditch over this but if it is in Arnold’s name it becomes pretty much the same thing as Arnold’s existing league.

Arnold. To go back to the start of this, you put the time and effort in to run something, you get the say on what you run. Those are my thoughts on it but I’ll not be offended if you accept or ignore them

I am not used to starting threads to be honest SP i have done more in the last few weeks than i had done in three years and put Arnold in the title without thinking and i did not know what to do to take it out once had done it . If you can take the Arnold part of the rounded keeper league please do so .

I will run the comp like you and TT did in the past 38 week league no promotion or relegation .I have set up a new Arnold Super league and thread and running that comp how i was planning to do this one hope you would like to play in it SP .

A big thanks to Oxford NZ for sending all the codes out to the 48 people in the rounded keeper league . Hancock you will be in the league when Oxford offered to help me out by sending all the codes to everyone at once you had not asked to join at that stage but as i mentioned you are in the league. It would be nice to have 50 in people in the league instead of 49 presuming everybody puts the code in Oxford gave them .

A little plug for my Arnold Super League some of the people that are in The Rounded Keeper league i have not invited yet . The reason is not because i don"t want you to be in that league i do but because it takes me a long time to send invites and explain how i want to run that league .

A big Thank You for all the leagues you are organising, Arnold. Whatever you choose as the rules, I am very happy to participate. Afterall you have all the work to do, whilst everyone playing has the joy.
Unfortunately I will probably only retire in 2 to 3 years. Maybe I can offer my help then, if my skills will be sufficient.
