So are we taking it that there will be a seasonal game and if so was there any input taken this year for what we’d like to have changed going into this season like they did in previous years ?
Personally I’d have liked them to keep it the same with the exception of having the subs/booster for both the start of the game and then a new batch for the 2nd half of the season on a use or lose them system

I must have said this about 10 times last season on the 25/26 season thread, that's exactly what they need to do, one set of chips just wasn't enough, makes more sense to help us maximise chips during group stages of European football and then knockouts whilst keeping casuals more interested for longer.

Yeah it would definatly keep the interest, more to the point though, i was doing amazing in the 2nd chance league but was fighting a losing battle as had no chips left against a whole new crew of teams that entered just for that

I was in the top 100 most of the season but fell away toward the end as I also used the chips early, felt like climbing a mountain with slippers towards the end.

Anyone seen any news on this ? Release dates ? Leaked player prices, etc ?

Last season game went live on 15th July, 31 days before first Premier League match
We're currently 31 days away from first match this season on 21st August

I'd imagine it'd be any day now. Might take longer though as they lost their provided of the game didn't they?

Im not to sure if there’ll even be one, they’ve had all summer to update the ts n cs and havent even done that the last time i checked, 6 weeks of World Cup and youd have thought if there was going to be one they’d be straight out of the blocks and getting the game live

Yeah you'd have thought they'd be on it quickly after the debacle of the world cup.but this is SDT,we all know that their slow movers to release the game (compared to other formats) especially with the clowns who are usually behind it (tech team) so think it could be the same this season??

Yeah, might be jumping the gun, sdt is the only format of fantasy that really appeals to me tbf, never taken or got to grips with any other format, i run mini leagues and join a few so just a bit concerned that itll be a non runner again after the world cup fiasco but hopefully not

That’s got the” we tried our hardest to get the game done on time but failed “ vibe going there, just ran out of time for the World Cup game yet they’ve had 8 weeks to get this done but will leave it last minute again

Very similar to the stuff they were trotting out for the World Cup game.
Also not a whisper on their social media again. If it happens, it’s a bonus, but I have serious doubts it will.

cheers for the update Maldini. “Hope to launch before the new season” is a bit vague. TFF not sure if they are releasing a game, DT looking dodgy, FanTeam looking like it’s on last legs (at least they have released a game), maybe next year there will only be FPL

That sounds like it's really 50/50 on the face of it.

I would hazard a guess that they are trying to get a game running as they're using their own tech guys after losing the previous providers so it's taking much longer, the World Cup test site would indicate they still have the will to keep the game going, but that tournament came around too soon after they had to go solo.

They started to use engage craft for the world cup game and one of the endpoints that had world cup players in, now has premier league players and random generated fixtures. So it does look like stuff is happening behind the scenes, still last years premier league player list - when they add the new ones hopefully it means its close

Maybe they played the World Cup game inhouse as a trial and it didnt work? cause there was definitely a game up and running at one stage as I actually built a side, so maybe they are trying modify it as we speak and its just a race against time again if they can get it complete b4 the season starts

Frank do you have access to the list of last years players starting prices that you could post on here please ?
I’ve managed to find player lists but they are all priced up at the players finishing price
