I started the season really positively and was on for a score around 2470 (65pts avg) after 10 gameweeks, which would have been my highest ever finish. Then it all turned a bit sour, leaving me desperately trying to identify why and seeking answers. I ended the season, well below my past 5 season average, on a very disappointing 2161 points and taking too many hits again. Unusually, I had no need for Vice Captains this season.

And then last season flirting with top 5K toward end of season but falling off at the end

This year is a big disappointment

The conspiracy to keep me out of the top 1,000,000 lived on

Yes I obviously took too many transfers and hits this season but after

Gw3 7.9m

Despite a team value of 101.0 already

My best periods seemed to be when I made less transfers


After peaking gw8 at 1.8m

I remained in the two and three million muck until gw26

From there my rank stayed firmly from 856k to 1.19m

Before landing on 1.058.133

Only one 100 point week gw33

Only one five digit gw rank: gw28 30,580 96 points

I'll toot my own horn here for a second will I? 9th season in a row inside 100k, decent. 2nd time inside 10k, pretty good. My highest ever finish 5,290, effin sweet

My best that I recall although as I've changed email accounts inadvertently on the FPL site at one stage I can't be totally certain.

A season of two halves really. Up to GW27 I'd only had one GWR in the top million and was at 3.6m OR having been as low as 4.9m earlier in the season.

But from then on 5 GWR in the top million with a best of 18k and all well above average except for GW37 when I was too busy swanning around Spain for the MotoGP and forgot to pick a proper team as a result (which should have been a Haaland TC as well).

An end result then of just outside the top million of 1,049,516 but that GW37 mishap is a reminder of why I don't really gel with this game. Having to manage the subs mean you never really get time off unless there's literally no fixtures.

I finished 100,400 exactly, so just missing out on the top 100k. Still, I'm very pleased overall. Chip strategy let me down this season, so that's something I must improve on for next year.
