GW32 WC

Post by jacksosi »

Cannot see a thread on this yet...just having a second* go at it and I think it looks ok.

-> 13 DGW'ers + Bruno and Gabriel
-> 3x MCY / CHE / BOU (slim chance of a 2nd DGW) , 2x LEE / BRI

*Original post deleted as I had the wrong fixtures for the DGW

It’s the right screenshot for GW32?

Or do you mean it’s not showing the GW33 DGW fixtures? No idea how to do that Image

3 x arse def is a waste. They don't have any doubles and Bournemouth will inevitably score against them

:D Yes, that's what I meant.

I'm also going WC this week, and what you have put up seems to me to be more or less the template structure for the week. Only variants are (potentially) Verbruggen for Petrovic (or Welbeck for DCL), Hill for Senesi, Gross for Mitoma. I can foresee a week where wildcarders scores are almost identical this week, as keeping Fernandes and Gabriel also seems very popular.

Currently on WC:
Petrovic / Verbruggen
Gabriel / Hill / O'Reilly / Van Hecke / Justin
Fernandes / Semenyo / Palmer / Stach (if fit) / Sarr
Haaland / Pedro / Welbeck

Have read somewhere that Darlow may not get both fixtures, DCL is way out of form + Welbeck has a plum GW32 fixture. Justin likely playing wing back so may get an attacking return.
Don't have many saved transfers so getting Sarr in now with a decent GW32 fixture.
Hopefully Petrovic and Justin are sufficiently off-template GW33 for a marginal gain.
If Stach isn't fit, then could be Ampadu, or might do Welbeck to DCL + Mitoma.
Otherwise it's various combinations of template Senesi, Tavernier, Gross, DCL ,Darlow, Rodon - as Zipnolan said it's going to be a very template WC.

Yeah, I'm starting to think I'm going to leave it, I have better GW32 squad than I would have with the WC.
I also have 10 already for GW34
Hence maybe I will play 32, FH 33, play 34 with 2 FT, then WC & BB 35+

I have 10 common players with you (if you play WC). Holding Bruno and Bowen. 2 FTs next week.

My plan for WC was to go with Salah as a big differential…after mid week now that seems a bit weird. Surely he starts the home games at least??

I’m also struggling with the Chelsea players that seem to be in every template. Out of form and really tough fixtures.

Quite tempted by Forest and one or two from Palace. Would want money left over to move to Arsenal after FH.

so am basically set on my WC except for which keeper

currently on Kelleher + Darlow

but thinking about Dubraka + Darlow, the thinking behind this is would only need Dubravka for 32 & 33 but and play Darlow in 35 but would the save points be enough to out score Kelleher

what you guess think

I wouldn’t be too keen to play goalkeeper roulette but I see the WC light on

I would and do have one premium and one dubravka. I’d keep one cheap doubler but also have a premium option to lean on the other week

darlow is tempting w fixtures but Leeds matches usually have goals for both sides.

What's the logic behind this thought? With Isak back there's even less chance of him starting, isn't there?

Yeah I think it was also before the news that Isak was back. The thought process was that after the announcement of him leaving there’d be a heroic finish…especially in the home games. With Isak back, lack of form and not sure on a regular starting place it doesn’t stack up at all.

But…

If I stick with my plan to avoid Chelsea, it feels like leaving a lot of money on the table.

I'm wildcarding but have a surprisingly high number of SGW players for my BB in GW33 - can't get too excited about some of the teams dbl'ing.

Bowen for this week to Pedro next will give me 10 dblers and be my only CHE - no Palmer.

Never considered the WC until 60 minutes ago. I decided to use my WC to get rid of doubts for this gameweek and navigating my squad through 33 and 34, ten transfers made, hereby trying to avoid a FH34 and keep that for a rainy day.

Do you think it will get more rainy than GW34 then?!

GW38 FH does have some merit, but I think GW34 FH is the play this season, coupled with a 35 WC. I will only have 3xC to worry about then.

I think when you play the WC depends on if you also have the BB chip and when you think it holds most value.

If, like me, you think the BB will be more lucrative in DGW33 rather than SGW35 or DGW36 (no TC chip left as well then?) then the logical call IMO was WC32.

Will be interesting to see which one is more fortunate.

Good luck with the BB :)
I blew the BB a while ago, just to get rid of it, and ensure a promotion in the divisionals. I still have the FH, WC and 3xC.

 Like ONZ states, I like keeping that or the TC for the final gameweek as a final Hail Mary but I very much see me using the FH for 34 as well. It will be rainy and stormy. I also brought in one more doubler for Wilson at the end so that would require one more transfer in 34.

FH this week then assuming you have enough in your squad for GW34, and WC35 / TC36?

Well cancelling the Image has paid off thankfully Image
I would have removed Thiago (13) , VVD (9), Guehi (15…a rare bench jam win), and Verbruggen (9) and be feeling pretty sick Image right now.

Also I wouldn’t have brought in Bowen (14)

Phew!!

Conversely, subject to how Mbeumo does tomorrow, my WC32 team should outperform how my GW31 team would have performed this week even if I'd brought Bowen in for Ekitike, and now BB33/FH34 is set up pretty nicely (subject to O'Reilly's injury not being serious). Swings and roundabouts.

am the opposite my GW31 team would have scored 67 with Bruno to play while WC32 site only getting 54 + Bruno to play, but guessing 13 points hopefully get more than that for BB, yea also hoping Oreilly injury not serious cause any transfer to be make is catered for DGW36
