CANADIAN BACON scored a huge 93 points in the game week 35 Challenge game it wasn't the Captain Calvert-Lewin, but the Arsenal Forward Gyokeres with 28 points that made the difference.
Fred1266FC also scored well although Palmer scored 0 for that team but I think there was a missed Penalty there  so bad luck Fred1266FC.
George's Charlie's was 3rd and close up were the chasing pack.
George's Charlie's leads the final event, and The Black Fingernail retains an unassailable points total in the season long Challenge.

There is a very close race for second place however  and when assists are worth 10 points and with a double gameweek 36 there could be scores in the +100

Get your team in now!!

@the two who are quite good at subtle hints  I will most likely give this one a miss (if they decide to carry on with it  ) next season.
So get ready for an election to decide who's running this show next time.

NASTY QUOKKAS was best of the contestants still playing GW36 Challenge.
A clear cut victory with a Haaland captain and Martinez in goal with a somewhat surprising 13 points.
ChelSE was second choosing C Haaland and Gabriel. Canadian Bacon also C Haaland and Gabriel was next best scorer.

this event with the 10 points bonus is led by George's Charlie's but could be caught by The Beagles then following are Canadian Bacon, Eketahuna Eagles .

In the season long game The Black Fingernail has 2211 points
The nearest chaser is Samba Shanley F>C who has 1976 points
No idea how wahine holds onto third place with 1970 points
RWM United could easily take that podium place on 1967 points
Woody's Wonders is also in the running for a medal on 1967 points
Fred1266FC a little way behind needs to find those 10 bonus points.

Get your team in there's not long until KO. :D

My own penultimate game week was abysmal but

Challenge Anelka and MAROM
climbed up the season league ranks with 61 points 8-)
Challenge Anelka captained Raya and why wouldn't you  Watkins was next best in that team and MAROM also Captained Raya with Rogers 12 next best.

George's Charlie's leads the final Event Challenge from Canadian Bacon and The Black Fingernail.

The Black Fingernail leads the Season Challenge with 2262 points.
Woody's Wonders is 52 points behind and Samba Shanley F.C is 56 points behind, MAROM is still in the hunt 57 points behind.

The last challenge is to pick your players from the eventual winning team in the last round, do that and the points are worth at least 48 on top of usual FPL points. All to play for for the chasers to get a first three finish.

Enjoy the final game week, it's going to be quite spectacular :D

I forgot i had picked Haaland captain and he did not play which was a shame as i picked Bowen and Bruno f in my team who did well . It would be a better comp with 11 players plus subs .

Oh yes :) it would be far more Challenging if we could pick 11 players one from 11 different teams, and it was way more fun when we had the subs coming in.
I (C) Haaland too and didn't get around to checking this game for lineups.
Well done to everyone who stuck it out until the end. 8-)

Woeful Wednesday made a late charge to the finish line in GW38 Challenge Pape Sarr did well for second place and MAROM who has been so consistent keeps on trying for third place.

The Event was won by George's Charlie's with Woeful Wednesday second and MAROM third.

Thank you both! I had a bit of a stellar season in this - I managed to finish 45th overall. I was 15th at one point but just faded a bit towards the end. Very happy to finish in the top 50 though.

Thank you wahine for all the entertaining updates - I read every one! I really appreciate all your hard work. :D

Great season BFN!
I did enjoy playing but managed to miss a week fairly early on, so must be more switched on next time!
Thanks for running this wahine :-)

Thanks Jester. I had Haaland as captain for the final week (too busy to check the team news), so yes, being switched on all the time seems to be the way!

:D wow! Well done dude!! Again, i keep congratulating you on winning side games. 8-)

Many thanks for the great organisation and inspiration, wahine. Honestly if it wasn't for your (game)weekly updates I would have regularly given this a miss.

Being switched on seems to indeed be a prerequisite for this game, something I've failed to do too often and will likely continue to do so even more next season.

Thanks pal! One of the reasons I persist with Challenge is that by the end of the season you have a good chance of a low OR, whereas with regular FPL, because it's so popular, it's like bashing your head against a brick wall trying to make progress. Challenge is a series of low hurdles by comparison. :)
