Thanks for running the game Wahine i hope there are good racing meetings for you to watch while we wait for FPL to return .
Oh yes, 8-) the Horse racing from Melbourne Cup week was sensational :D
Bookies got rocked with some exceptionally good racehorses featuring in the Multis,

you win some you lose some :) But I'm always looking forward to the Prem starting again even if my FPL isn't going as well as I would like. :|

Fred1266FC gets back to winning ways in the bonus points for being really great at pass completions Fantasy challenge game week.
Andersen and Munoz were way better that Captain Bruno and Fred1266FC has a Global Rank of 108th 8-)

Second place went to Woody's Wonders who Captained Virgil for 18 points and found Rogers 15 points (Is he back?).
YoYo was 1 point ahead of George's Charlie's and also MAROM with everyone close up behind the two best game week scorers.

This weekend fuel up your BUS team and have a go, you might get some game week glory if you can identify players with loads of Recovery ability.
thanks for playing :D

My first season playing this and I'm still getting to grips with strategy etc - one good week, two poor (same old story really!)
I am enjoying the diversion though and I think it helps me to keep my finger away from the tinker button in the main games?!

I'm so happy you're all enjoying the "Challenge"
and learning how to use the stats for FPL purposes

Fred1266FC leads by 20 points overall, after a slight slip up in this week's selection picking Caicedo  so , with a long way to go in the season :D The Black Fingernail is pointing in the right direction to catch him, with the rest of us needing some game weeks capable of high totals.

Game week 13 was run and won by the Black Fingernail ☝🏿by 2 points from wahine with 2 points back to Challenge Pape Sarr and 2 points back to Woeful Wednesday :)

Top two captained Anderson whilst Challenge Pape Sarr captained Bruno who wasn't far away in the recovery points and Woeful Wednesday captained Bruno and also chose Anderson but Haaland was a big flop.

Get your team in right away as we are blasting off for gameweek 14 soon and you will get double points for cheap midfielders and there are plenty to choose from.

There are some new players on the podium as gameweek 14 asked for the bargain midfielders.
SAMBA SHANLEY F.C
C Captained Merino 8-) Well done! That's how you win this thing.
90 points and 9 points clear of MAROM in second place who Captained Casemiro :D
Challenge Anelka captained Rogers but also found Wilson and there were plenty of players close up.

Just shows us you can make up places in this league, so get you team in before KO

My name in lights :) I actually transferred Merino out of my draft team last week so said I better hedge and band him in challenge! Needless to say he's back in my draft team now

And another win for

Samba Shanley F.C

and this time shared with

Woody's Wonders

both on 60 points :D .

Woody's best player was Sanchez and Samba Shanley captained Keane for 36 points
only 1 point behind are both Challenge Pape Sarr and Canadian Bacon (who ignored the double defence points and went ahead with Captain Bruno) so there is more than one way to play this game.
Then there were three players a further point behind.

Fred1266FC and The Black Fingernail aren't particularly enjoying this set of fixtures and the gap is closing on them both with MAROM closest challenger :) as we are well aware there is plenty of FPL season to play out.

Get your team in for GW16 and double points for Cheap forwards

I did actually keep the bottom three forwards and changed around the other three.
Guess what! wahine wins this gameweek
and second place now for the season in the FISO league headed by The Black Fingernail who has a big lead (but its only Gw 16 )

At least I have success in something

OOP Bolla PInnsvin was close up 1 point away in second place and Aston TinCanDribblers another 2 points away.

This weekend its double points for players at home (should be easy - right  )
Get your teams in and go in for the weekly name in lights.

Gameweek 17 was a big scoring affair allowing players to make ground in the league (which Is great) however The Black Fingernail is streets ahead in the League so we all have some work to do.

This game week top honors go to Woody's Wonders who was 30 points clear of second placed RWM United and AstonTinCanDribblers, George's Charlies close up and everyone else mostly one or two points behind the placegetters.

The winning team included Haaland captain, DCL, Semenyo, Rogers, Andersen and the 22 points for Verbruggen.

Well done!!WW.

Get in quick as there's not long until the next round starts. :D

You're going well Woody 5th equal this game week :D . and up to second place for the season 8-)

However THE BLACK FINGERNAIL is simply unstoppable in this competition, once again taking top honors 8-) HIs Captain CHERKI why didn't I think of him :(
Chasing this week was OOP Bolla Pinnsvin only 4 points behind the finger, finding Cherki but Captaining Ekitike :) then From4corners also Captain Cherki but Bowen was a letdown for that team.

Next gameweek is closing in fast so get your teams in and have a chance of winning a weekly game week and having your name in lights 8-)

and the FISO challenge is...

to beat The Black Fingernail  who leads the League by 80 points :D

If you play as many games as there are on FISO you'll always have something to savor in at least one of those competitions
Still plenty of time if FPL towers throw up some high scoring opportunities to the chasers.
Happy festive season to all🎄🎄🍷🍷

Oh I thought I had slipped back a couple of places, thank you maxi123 but I need to do a lot better,
this gameweek has caught me out a bit, but here are the results for gameweek 19 and NASTY QUOKKAS is the winner! Despite a Captain Ekitike failure owning Pickford, Saka, Wissa and WestHam's Wilson scraped the win by 1 point  Eketahuna Eagles was an unlucky second with Saka Captain chipping in with his 18 points. Third was a getting more consistent From4corners who makes it on to the podium two weeks in a row. :)
Woody's wonders leads the Festive Fixtures Event by 5 points from From4corners

Get your team loaded asap. Here is my autopick - looks okay

I keep forgetting to check my team and for the second week running one my defenders did not play. I liked this game better with 11 players plus a bench like they in the trial run .

Happy New Year Wahine

Very surprised that I managed to get a win - I did feel good about my picks before the GW started, but after first day thought I won't definitely win anymore given how many games were left :D

Red Arrows for wahine this week :(
AstonTinCanDribblers DRIBBLERS won the very close battle to take out the Clean Sheets Score Double Fantasy Challenge.
Verbruggen was a nice pick in goal, and Thiaw with his haul nudged the win by 1 points from Woody's wonders who's also had a great Festive season in Challenge Event gw20 Woody captained Gabriel and found Bruno Guimares :) only one point back again is Nasty Quokkas who has continued his recent form and found Thiaw and Van Hecke so Brighton and Newcastle were the clean sheets we were looking for.

The Festive Fixtures Event was won by Woody's Wonders from From4corners and The Black Fingernail.

The Season long event is led by The Black Fingernail from Woody's Wonders and Fred1266FC .
Gameweek 21 your task is to find the best scoring players for Tackles won.

Good Luck! get your team in ASAP as we do it all over again very soon.

Thankyou F4C wishing you and yours a great 2026 too. and everyone else and theirs :)

THE BLACK FINGERNAIL RULES

Kelleher, Dorgu, Garner and BrunoG makes up a handy team for GW21. 8-)
Only two points away was The_Only_Way_Is_Up with a BrunoG Captain haul. Nice Captain pick Hayes, third place Nasty Quokkas on a roll and the Beagles also close up along with a swarm of players with only 1 point separating them.
The Black Fingernail is nearly 100 points clear for the season I don't know how we can catch him but let's see what big points can be gained as there is plenty of time for FPL towers to come up with some big scoring challenges.
Next week you are looking for Most Chances Created which earn an extra point for each one of those.
Good Luck!!

THE BLACK FINGERNAIL AGAIN!
Gameweek 22 produces yet another win for our unstoppable leader.
Wirtz was a great Captain and Bruno Fernandes 16 points made up to a total score of 64 with second placed YoYo on 55 points - YoYo captained Bruno but the back-up players failed to make an impression.
From4Corners who has also Captained Bruno with a supporting cast of fairly ordinary contributions is third holding the form. Then all the Bruno Captainers close up
This weekend your players earn +2 points for every successful dribble past an opponent.
Get your teams in :D

GEORGE'S CHARLIE'S Makes a return to the top of the table in gameweek 23
A 6 point win thank you Captain Bowen :)
Equal second were YoYo with a Captain Semenyo - only 8 points for you  and Bowen looks on...
and Nasty Quokkas who Captained Bowen but didn't have the supporting cast in place picking Doku (like I did without checking team sheets  )
Close up, many teams but you must pick the correct captain.
Do it all again in a couple of days... get your team in :D
