Newcastle have some great young players in Hall, Liv, Thiaw, Osula, WhataGoal, Miley. Willock's not that young but there is a bright young team in there.

Also the European Clubs have flipped, so some of those B's could take a hit the size of MU's bounce.. CP have a new manager (with midweek matches) and no Guehi nor Lacroix.

I agree that plenty of other clubs have challenges.

And maybe a newish youngish manager will freshen things up.

Can anyone shed some light (or some opinions at least) on the following:

1. Is Maresca a rotating tinkerer or does he prefer consistency?
2. Gvardiol, a must pick in previous times, no longer a solid starter?
3. Will Iraola mean Wirtz comes to life?
4. Is Isak back to normal or suffering post-injury degradation?
5. Any reason not to expect Thiago to repeat his goals?

What a player he was.. putting on that 1994 WC final performance less than 4 weeks after undergoing meniscus surgery (something I wouldn't support as a physician, but such is the mind of champion athletes). RIP warrior, hopefully your memory stirs Italian football to rise again.

Am I grounded Luke is decent and fun to listen to, although I preferred him when he wasn't so Review-centric.

If you pair him with Thomas of Coventry you get Leeds, Hull and Spurs all at home first 3 fixtures, and not too bad after that.
