I am back, almost an hour after posting this, Arsenal have managed to get their xg up from .34 to .35
That'll just be some dodgy rounding up.

Last year Arsenal had created chances and could
Have won against psg

This performance was just dismal

120 minutes of head in the sand football

Penalties, then… can the former Southport keeper be the difference? (Talking of sand…)

1 shot on goal in 120 mins and none in the last 114 mins. I guess it's all forgotten if they win on pens, but how will people react if they lose?

Safonov appears to be doing his best to keep out of the way of these penalties.

Rule number 1 of penalty shoot-outs: never let your centre-back take one. (See Baresi, F; Stam, J; Terry, J, etc.)

No English Triple Crown then. Guess it’s going to have to be Villa, Bournemouth and Brighton next year.

Unless your centre-back is Sergio Ramos. Or Ronald Koeman. Or Fernando Hierro.

That was shocking for the showpiece of the season. Such a shame the PSG v Bayern match wasn't the final.

Did anyone expect Arse to play any differently? If there was one thing the match didn't it was an early Arse goal...

I did think about how many of us waxed lyrical about Rossi's Italy beating the uber stars of Socrates' Brazil abd how different the two were.

Maybe this loss will bring him back to the light and he can join the Farke side

I suppose he played in Moyes’s Everton side, who were somewhat like a poor man’s version of his Arsenal… maybe he was his Palpatine.
