Non of the above
Have 3 Pool
Have 3 Toffies
Playing AS on Postecoglou, just to blow the chip off and use my data to work out the data scrape implications, and alterations required to the sheets to run the side games.

Good luck ONZ but I'm expecting this chip to become a regular feature so like it or not...

I made a mistake and so ended up with two Liverpool and one Everton. Played chip with Moyes as my assistant.

The extra (player) assistant manager has busted my data collection and blown out my api request allowance for the day, so no updates for the divisionals until the end of the game week.

Assistant Manager Chip
10 for Slot, a decent start
Unfortunately my resistance to bringing in Forest players means yet again I lose ground

Re: Assistant Manager Chip
I’ve got big problems
I desperately want Slot 25 but I can’t drop Gakpo at this point he’s scoring left and right. I hold Trent salah and gak. Is it worth it longer term to go Gakpo to Wissa or mateta and have slot for gw25? Seems like an obvious 20 points w Salah away form and wolves.
Alternatives: Emery but I really can’t seem him getting a result with liverpools away form
Iraola against Soton.
Fulham chance at table bonus against Forest.
Should I just go with Emery and treat the Liverpool game as a bonus? Iraola could run up the score against saints.
Or the option exists to save the assman for something like Liverpool 30-33 but man you really need to double this chip

If you haven't already activated it then I'd save it and go with the TC on Salah if you still have it. If you don't have the TC then I'd probably go for Emery for the same reason many went with Moyes.

my TC is spent on Salah GW24, which so far seems a good decision.
i held gakpo trent and him for weeks with DGW in mind and then when the double double came and i realized i couldn't get Slot too I was not happy

I think you made the right call not to AM24 Slot at the cost of Gakpo/Trent. It's early to say but I felt at the time a bit too much was being made of AM Slot on social media by certain influencers. My reasoning is let's say Liverpool have an 80% chance of winning away at Everton and a 60% chance of winning away at Villa, combining both means Liverpool still drop points 52% of the time. Everton beating Leicester, Villa beating Ipswich, and Liverpool beating Wolves are bankers so I couldn't see how selling Gakpo, often for a -4NorthBankRedemption wrote: 07 Feb 2025, 17:57 my TC is spent on Salah GW24, which so far seems a good decision.

Moyes to Emry for me. Annoyingly i'll have to find more cash but i think i can downgrade a Newcastle player to a Villa one.

Re: Assistant Manager Chip
Seeing as I'm mainly trying to maintain my strong position rather than make significant gains I may opt for Iraola against Southampton rather than Emery's double gameweek. I understand the potential reward against Liverpool is much higher but man Liverpool and Salah's away form is crackling (barring today in the cup) and I really don't see Villa getting anything out of that match.
Whereas Bournemouth vs Soton could really run up the score.
Then they are home to Wolves GW26
And for GW27 you can have a crack at one of these two for table bonus:
Wolves are home to Fulham
and Spurs are home to Man City against whom until recently they had excellent form
Or just stick with Iraola for a third match at Brighton, who they could also run up the score on

Re: Assistant Manager Chip
Moyes last/current week.
Emery this/coming week.
Might go fancy the following week and go RVN against Brentford assuming there is still 5 table positions there for the big boni.
All in baby???

I'm planning on using the Assistant Manager in GW 31 as I missed out on covering the 5 AM games opportunity, the strategies around Moyes to who? are the most interesting for the next gameweek. Just wondering if anyone is going Moyes to Slot?

Re: Assistant Manager Chip
My current thinking is
GW25 Emery IPS LIV
GW26 Iraola WOL
GW27 Iraola bri
though tempted by GW27 punt on Wolves to beat Fulham at home for the table bonus
i'd rather bank the transfer in anticipation of gw29 - which is a big problem as I don't want to transfer out any of the blankers
Getting four matches for AM and 3 home matches is very good I think and probably bettered only by the 5 you could have had starting GW24

I activate Mikel Arteta for AM due to having 3 from Liverpool. What do you think Resonare? Do you think it would be nice short-term (3 GWs) move. And let me ask you one more question about Kluivert form. Will he score or assist versus SOU away and WOL at home?Resonare wrote: 08 Feb 2025, 10:33I think you made the right call not to AM24 Slot at the cost of Gakpo/Trent. Re: Assistant Manager Chip
I can't make that decision for you Maxi but I think you'll want to use a FT on Arteta out in GW27 because Arsenal play away at Forest. If you're comfortable going for Emery in DGW25 and either holding for Chelsea at home in GW26 or switching in GW26 to another manager and sticking in GW27 then you will still only use a FT on the AM but you should have higher expected points because of Emery.maxi123 wrote: 11 Feb 2025, 18:13 I activate Mikel Arteta for AM due to having 3 from Liverpool. Also, I think the odds of big teams like Liverpool and Arsenal winning away games are exagerrated in our heads. Just to go back to the post I made before, the bookies think Liverpool beat Everton 65%-70% and beat Villa 55% of the time, so they think Liverpool win both games around 35% of the time. That means at least one of Moyes/Emery gets table bonus a whopping 65% of the time over these DGWs. I know it's too late to go back and AM24 Moyes but the point is there's a lot of value in the non-premium managers.
Kluivert is a great pick, I'd expect him to return over the next two.maxi123 wrote: 11 Feb 2025, 18:13 And let me ask you one more question about Kluivert form. Will he score or assist versus SOU away and WOL at home?

Yes , these two easy fixtures can bring in goals! so now that I've activated Emery they confirm Newcastle DGW 32 which was never even on the list of options
BRE (H)
LEI (A)
MANU (H)
PALACE (H)
now that looks much eff juicier than Emery IPS and liv.
how can they expect people to make decisions about this AM Chip when nothing about the schedule is settled? Lunacy
