Same, not moving early on this one even though I'm not expecting any help from Arteta.

Obviously it hinges on what we hear about saka but my first sub is either Enzo or rogers.

I might roll a week. Jesus vs Ipswich is tempting but I don’t want to see Pedro finally return vs brentford unless if he’s in my 11

Would prefer not to rebuy saka later at 10.5. 3 weeks is the breaking point for me. If he’s out more than that I’ll likely transfer out. Not really fancying any midfielders though. Would be timely for Haaland to find form and finally do Pedro/jesus to Haaland w the saka savings

Probably a -4 for some combo of

One of Cunha/Welbeck -> Jesus/Jackson/Isak
Plus
Saka -> Bruno/other

Saka :arrow: Jota or Diaz because of the injury.
Cunha :arrow: Isak (-4) depending on the pending ban.

Gonna hold off until there's more clarity but I'm favoring Diaz atm. Gakpo has started 6/7 of Liverpool's games since the internationals and wasn't rested in the cup, while Diaz has been rested 3/7 games and was fully rested in the cup. I wouldn't be surprised if Diaz starts all 3 over Xmas but I can't see Jota starting more than 2.

Did Cunha to Isak, that'll be the end of his scoring run now, I'm sorry to say.

I just realized my move is really Cunha :arrow: Isak for a -4 so maybe I'll reconsider :P

Saka and Cunha to Jesus and Ødegaard for a -4 but i am thinking of another -4 as i have cash in the bank and think i can strengthen to recoup that -4 over the next 3 gameweeks.

Considering Darwin probably starts both the EFL and FA cup games in January it probably means Jota starts the Man United and Nott'm Forest EPL games either side of them. Add that the cup games are back to back, it seems more likely to me that Jota starts the West Ham game and Darwin starts against Leicester if Jota does only start 2 out of the next 3.

I'm leaning more toward Jota just because of how much easier his minutes are to predict than Diaz', and long-term there's no doubt Jota is first-choice over Darwin compared to Diaz/Gakpo which is much harder to call.

I go for Diaz in the squad because his performance last game was splendid.
Good luck with D.Jota Resonare. He played only 33 minutes last 2GWs but he achieved 1 assist.
Could you please say more about Liverpool rotation techniques. :)

Just in case you missed it, apparently Diaz's performance in last game was splendid so could be an option but I'm not sure about Liverpool's rotation techniques so it's probably not for me :P

For what it's worth I'm a Liverpool fan but still this is just my opinion.

Leicester (EPL): Diaz - Darwin - Salah
West Ham (EPL): Diaz - Jota - Salah
Man United (EPL): Gakpo - Jota - Salah
Tottenham (EFL): Gakpo - Darwin - Chiesa
Accrington (FA): Diaz - Darwin - Chiesa
Nott'm Forest (EPL): ??? - Jota - Salah
Brentford (EPL): ??? - Jota - Salah
LOSC (UCL): ??? - Darwin - Chiesa (Liverpool only need a draw to qualify in the Top 8)
Ipswich (EPL): ??? - Jota - Salah
PSV (UCL): ??? - Darwin - Chiesa (Likely a dead rubber)
Bournemouth (EPL): ??? - Jota - Salah
Tottenham (EFL): Gakpo - Darwin - Chiesa
FA Cup 4th Round (FA): Diaz - Darwin - Chiesa
Wolves (EPL): ??? - Jota - Salah

As you can see, short-term Diaz looks the better option because he's more likely to get Leicester and West Ham. However, because Darwin is likely to start Tottenham and Accrington it makes Jota quite likely to start Man United and Nott'm Forest, and moving forward Jota's starts are much more secure. Ofc, this doesn't factor in Diaz playing as a 9 but based on how many minutes Gakpo has had I think Slot will use Diaz on the LW much more from now on.

Bruno is the best pick so there's no shame in it, the problem some of us like RomynPG and I already have Bruno... :?

While I'm still flipping coins to decide on Jota/Diaz, I've decided not to do Cunha :arrow: Isak (-4)...it just seems reactionary. Unless Cunha gets banned I don't think Isak is likely to outscore him by 4 points this GW...

Thanks for the response Resonare. And yeah, the obvious pick leans to Salah, Diaz and Darwin imo.
