WC10

Post by Resonare »

I'm annoyed at myself for not realizing how good of a week to WC this is! I've lost about 0.5m in value but better late than never I guess :x

Current thoughts by position:

GK1: Kelleher is the stand-out choice at the moment. With Alisson due back in December (?) Kelleher is a proven deputy capable of upholding Liverpool's impressive Top 1 defensive stats this season. It's an easy switch from Kelleher  Sels or Raya in December if need be.

GK2: Fabianski. Nailed as the only playing 4.0m option now that Areola has (finally) been dropped.

DF1: Trent. Nailed for Liverpool's next 3 fixtures and is a safe place to store funds. It's an easy switch to Virgil, Konate, or even Tsimikas if Robertson really has lost his place. I'm not in a hurry to sell just yet.

DF2: Ait-Nouri. Amazing attacking stats despite extremely difficult opening fixtures and has amazing fixtures to come.

DF3: Cash. A proven explosive option for a team who are 2nd for defensive data and have excellent fixtures from GW12 onward. He's more of a long-term pick to have in place as I image plenty of FPL managers will be trying to buy him in GW12.

DF4: Moreno. Any Nott'm Forest defender will do but Moreno is the cheapest at 4.4m and has a history of huge scores. Nott'm Forest are high in defensive data and rotate well with Villa over the next 4 fixtures.

DF5: Faes. Nailed as I got him at 4.0m and he is clearly the best 4.0m defender.

MF1: Salah. Nailed, a clear captain option over the next 2-3 fixtures. His "toughest" fixture is a weakened Man City at home, I'm expecting Liverpool to win this one and Salah to play a big part.

MF2: Palmer. Nailed, borderline essential.

MF3: Son. Nailed if fit. Great fixtures and a differential captain in GW11. Acts as a bank for funds to get to Haaland and can easily become Saka later on. 3/4 home games with the away game being Man City who he has a great record of scoring against. I'm fully expecting plenty of points for Son over the next few.

MF4: Mbeumo. Nailed, borderline essential.

MF5: Winks. Nailed as the best 4.5m midfielder. Lavia uses up a Chelsea slot so he isn't an option.

FW1: Jackson (mnu/ARS) is better than Watkins (tot/liv) over the next 2 and it saves a FT later.

FW2: Cunha. Nailed for the same reasons as Ait-Nouri.

FW3: Jiménez. Wissa is an option but Mbuemo feels like enough cover. I like the idea of Jiménez  Welbeck in GW13 or just holding until his good fixtures return in GW17.

Kelleher Fabianski
Trent Ait-Nouri Cash Moreno Faes
Salah Palmer Son Mbeumo Winks
Jackson Cunha Jiménez

The team has several routes back to Haaland in 2FTs but I don't plan on bringing him back until GW18.

yes Reasonare, it looks a good week to wildcard and catch up with the latest fashion.
I have only 6 of those players.
The cheapish defence and no Haaland enables quite a good team and not many people have a spare transfer to move to Kelleher, but if Virgil (which I don't actually know for sure ( but reports said he was )is injured, I wonder if that will that make Liverpool defence weaker.
Defence is not where it's at this season, so it seems the right move. Good luck!

Thanks, I hope Virgil is fine or it's back to the drawing board :P

Still fairly sure with this team, 2m ITB.

Kelleher Fabianski
Trent Ait-Nouri Cash Moreno Faes
Salah Palmer Son Mbeumo Winks
Jackson Cunha Jiménez

Considering doing Kelleher  Raya or Son  Saka now to save a FT down the line. Also noticing that I might do Trent  Tsimikas as well but it seems too risky to make the switch now.

Otherwise I'm fairly settled.
