Oops

Salah -> Diaz
DCL -> Haaland
Palmer -> Mbeumo

Done -8
My two week WC punt on Mo v EH failed miserably, and ended up costing extra hit points on top :oops:

Wildcard time!

My main dilemma is Salah or Saka.

Going with Saka enables me to also have TAA whereas Salah means a cheaper defence.

Any thoughts?

You need to do an RMT so we can see your wildcard team if you want some help with the above question

3 FTs.
Palmer -> Saka
Gusto -> van der Berg

Considering using the last FT
either: TAA -> Gabriel
or: Eze -> Diaz
or possibly both for a -4.

Pulled it early…

Salah>Saka
Dunk>Gabriel
Pedro>Solanke

I wasn’t happy with the EH/Salah issue that I’ve had since my GW4 WC. Mainly the Captaincy dilemma. I still have Saka and Palmer as back-up Captain options.

Bringing in Arsenal players was planned but not the Solanke switch. That one’s mainly because it felt like a bit of a structural imbalance having two sub-6m forwards. Will see in the long-term if that makes any difference though…

I am currently trying to make some money on a wc, but double rises seem to be a story of the past.

Same here. I noticed that as well.

Market seems more volatile than it used to be for 1 rise but less than it used to be for 2 rises.

It's helpful be able to take out players who're dropping at least.

Pedro out for between 3&10 weeks. If it's 3 I'd probably keep him, 10 and I'd want to move him on for.... Wood?

I've played my WC, I went to Palmer, Saka, Mbeumo, Rogers and ESR but with the news that Wolves are dessimated with injuries I think I'm going to go back to Salah in the hope he goes ballistic, would mean getting rid of Palmer or Saka and Mbeumo though.....

Made 2 more transfer as team was looking weak in places. Could've been -4 instead of -8 in retrospect as Calvert-Lewin on bench now just in case Madueke repeats any of that one game form and Calvert didn't score against a usually moderately resistant Crystal Palace defence at home last year. Hopefully make back the rash transfers cost.

Green arrow after all that with Semenyo tp. Will most probably get Delap back for Calvin after next week if he doesn't score against Newcastle at home as Delap has some good fixtures and should have stuck with my hunch that he was a prospect but at least with this game you can correct things like that the week after. Not this week as I've got Trossard in and only went over transfer allowance this week so not looking to do that again in a hurry plus if Calvert scores finally against Newcastle he'd be worth keeping in the team. 11 from Van de Ven goes to waste on the bench as third sub.
