Man City options for Double Gameweeks

Post by johnF »

Are Man City's doubles in GW20 and GW23 confirmed?

If so, 3 Man City players for the next 4 weeks would seem the thing to do.

Which 3 though? Haaland obviously, but then not sure about the other 2. KDB been a bit off the boil since the World Cup and Cancelo doesn't seem to be getting much game time at the moment for some reason? :?

Interesting stat...

In their last 30 games against Spurs, Chelsea or Man U, Man City have failed to win 16 of them.

One to ponder when they face them all (Spurs twice!) in their next 6 PL games.

Man City v Spurs in GW20 could be moved if either of them need an FA Cup replay.

With this kind of question, I'd normally say wait for the game tomorrow and the FA Cup game at the weekend for clues, but barring injury, I really don't fancy there being any useful data.

My first instinct would still be to say Haal, KDB, Cancelo - I have Ederson 'instead' of KDB so I hope that works out for me!

Walker, Canc and Foden need to improve their body language in training 🤷‍♂️

Already have Cancelo, Kdb and Haaland so will probably stick with them.

I have gone for Ake, Mahrez and of course Haaland. With a dgw 20 for ManU too, I should be able to field 6 doublers. I am not sure whether I should take a hit to increase this number. Probably not.

Someone like Foden might be a worthwhile risk given the risk/reward could be quite high.

Shaw probably best option if you don't have him already.
