Dreamteam stuff
Top 100 full of Arsenal fans/punts no surprise after one game. Can disregard the 11 Arsenal player ones. Others there have 3 main prospects with 8 Arsenal slightly more of a chance. Liverpool next game at 12.30.
Just checked EFL Cup dates but they are usually a lottery. One round a few days after World Cup Final. Second Round: August 23-24, 2022 · Third Round: November 8-9, 2022 · Fourth Round (of 16): December 20-21, 2022.
Got one full Arsenal defence. Had more but thought I'd have AA and Cancelo in about the nine other teams. Tinkered Jesus out of a few teams as he was initially in most of them.

it always amuses me seeing teams like that, but maybe they're casuals just enjoying throwing in a team, probably wont even manage them, with 5 subs Nunez backers don't need to panic as much, I only have 1 in 10 teams, but once he gets going he'll be in everyone's teams.

And now I'm 7th overall with that team.

Re: Dreamteam stuff
Blank from Sterling after getting 7 rating then dipping under 7 at final whistle. Perhaps he needs many chances before a goal/assist as he was given at Man City. He got an offside rebound so perhaps he will get some stats in future as he is playing centre. Chelsea playing Spurs next who they did the double over last season.

Re: Dreamteam stuff
Missed an early season chunk of points somewhere and gaining ground from too far back lately. Saka lowest Arsenal rated starting player somehow v Spurs. Spurs must've marked him out of the game inbetween his match winning efforts.

Re: Dreamteam stuff
I took out Saka after watching him get a seemingly disinterested 6.7 against Oxford, but thought he deserved more from the Spurs game.
Sadly I put in Mahrez and despite he did bigger all against UTD, he has 3 games left before the next TF window as opposed to Saka's 2, assuming not left on the bench.

19044th. So too far back. Must've not varied away enough from last season's performers in 10 starting teams. Contradictory this same team was 7th first week so must've have maintained that scoring. Started with Arsenal defenders and probably got rid of them too soon, then they do rotate for non Premierleague games.
Weekly position: 7th,18941,14220,85100,152747,154912,107149,65751,91557,189060,214185,201340,138469,135563,99766,38077,23234,19044.
Even found it here: https://www.ffstuff.co.uk/SearchManager ... %20MANNION
Just adding detail as the Dreamteam forum seems to be almost inactive after the first few months.

There you go . Nice haul for Mahrez last night . With Peps seemingly random rotation think he's been their best player since the world cup .Redlands19 wrote: ↑17 Jan 2023, 17:30I took out Saka after watching him get a seemingly disinterested 6.7 against Oxford, but thought he deserved more from the Spurs game.

I've lost out on Newcastle defence and should have had a block or semi block the last month or so Swapped Almiron for Ward Prowse last night as he has potentially 4 games left this month . Just hope he continues in his new midfield roll .

Re: Dreamteam stuff
Currently leading January Manager of Month at the moment, I need to decide on whether to transfer out either Mahrez or Almiron for Ward Prowse this week.
Almiron has 3 games left this month, Mahrez has 2, Ward Prowse 4

Re: Dreamteam stuff
Very impressive - good luck. You'll need correlated outcomes to win so Ward-Prowse effectively only has two games given you've a full Newcastle block defence.

Re: Dreamteam stuff
Thanks, true. I may hold off until FA Cup weekend before pressing the button, Southampton have Blackpool at home.
Mahrez might be rotated then.
Virtually everyone else has a full Newcastle block also.
Really trying not to be trigger happy!
Pulled the trigger now, Ward-Prowse in for Mahrez.

Isak wildcard.
Display error where transferred in players show as scored previous week when looking at individual team but doesn't matter as doesn't show in table or team list view.

Yup crept up to 200th, but have done my transfers for the month and can't do anything about Guimarães injury. Am still pondering how to gain 100 points on the leaders and struggling to pick a defensive block when European games return, most of the so called big teams can't keep a clean sheet and have some dodgy looking fixtures to come. Guess I need to take a chance at some stage, poop or bust.

What's a realistic point deficit at this stage?

Re: Dreamteam stuff
Anyone think that this will run next season ?
Losing patience with so many transfers & price changes, might be my last season.

It won't last forever, and prize money will probably continue to dwindle, but would be surprised if it's binned next season.

Re: Dreamteam stuff
Forgot there was a prize of a PS5. Dropped off the leaderboard anyway after the Man City show even though I had 5 of them in that team.
