FISO SWISS CUP 2022-23
Welcome to the FISO Swiss Cup 2022/23!
Here I shall be posting all of the Fixtures, Results, Standings and the Roll of Honour as we go through the competition. The posts at the start of the thread shall be updated with the latest information, but I shall also be making posts at the back of the thread every round so we have a record of the whole season.
If you need a recap, then here are The Rules. Also, here are the Match Point and Victory Point Charts for easy reference:
I have put together a Directory of entrants, but only included those who have chosen to display an fpl button (whether up to date or not ) as some people prefer to keep their links off the boards. If you're not on there, but don't mind being included, then let me know and I'll add you on. I shall also PM everybody a join code for a league. It is completely optional whether you join or not - it's just another way to check up on your opponents and rivals. Hopefully everyone will be able to be in either the Directory or the League as the game is more fun if you can see what you're up against.
Feel free to also use this space for the usual FISO Banter, Boasting, Roasting and Toasting.
For now though the first round of fixtures are out, so good luck everyone and enjoy the season.

Fixtures
Fixtures for Round 9 are arranged according to Victory Points.
As we have a large number of entrants I have included Match Numbers to hopefully make it a bit easier to find your results, when they are published, if your match is in the middle of the pack.

Re: FISO SWISS CUP 2022-23
The opening skirmishes of Round 1 are complete and the results posted above.
We begin our featured matches with 3 All-Premier League ties:
Match 1: Smurphy Paw and snakzz have started very cagily with an initial swing of just 2 points going in favour of snakzz.
Match 2: Hödi and fred1266 are straddling the FPL GW Average line, with the early spoils going to fred with a 6MP advantage.
Match 3: Hogmeister and Premier League Champion taivt both posted good scores and only 1MP separates them with taivt being the one with just a nose in front.
For our final featured match we go down to Match: 27 where we find reigning Cup champion Blue Fire against dalmation, who leads by 5MP. I'm not sure if you can call a dalmatian a dark horse, it's only a partially dark dog, but this one may be worth keeping an eye on.
Our top scorer for the week is way down in Match 55 where Doogal racked up 89 points and a 12MP lead over Spencer4.
Good luck next week everyone

Really enjoying this competition, so thank you for organising and updating however I must point out that I think there is an error. I didn't score 84 unfortunately, I managed 70.

Re: FISO SWISS CUP 2022-23
Thanks TRM
Well spotted and thanks for pointing it out.
Hopefully it should be all fixed now. You won by a bit more in GW1 and a bit less in GW2, finishing 9-0 up rather than 12-0.

Re: FISO SWISS CUP 2022-23
Scores for the 3rd week of Round 1 are updated above.
In our featured matches:
Match 1: Smurphy Paw continues to pull away from snakzz and now has a very healthy 11-2 lead.
Match 2: Hödi's comeback against fred1266 is completed with 4MPs this week and now a 7-6 lead going into the final week.
Match 3: It's one-way traffic in this one as taivt continues to pile on the agony to Hogmeister and leads 10-0
Match 27: Champion Blue Fire is still chipping away at dalmatian's early lead in this close contest and at 5-3 to dalmatian it's all to play for in the final week.
The Pipe & Slippers Club lounge has just a single occupant at the moment with thebillfella looking pretty secure on a 24-0 lead. His opponent can only tie with him at this stage by virtue of a win by at least 206 points in GW4. There are many others though who are virtually assured of their wins going into the final week.
One of those is The Catman, who is our top scorer for the week, racking up 71 points and a 17-3 lead over Malrom in Match 42.
Good luck in the final week of Round 1 everyone

Fixtures
Fixtures for Round 2 are arranged according to Victory Points.
As we have a large number of entrants I have included Match Numbers to hopefully make it a bit easier to find your results, when they are published, if your match is in the middle of the pack.

Re: FISO SWISS CUP 2022-23
Unfortunately I've spotted another error in someone's fpl ID which is being used, resulting in them getting the wrong scores for Round 1. The difference is pretty significant so, as I haven't yet begun publishing results for Round 2, I am going to go back and retrospectively rescore Round 1, which will result in different fixtures for Round 2.
Please bear with me while I sort it all out.
Apologies to all.

Re: FISO SWISS CUP 2022-23
OK. Hopefully that's all of the errors ironed out as this is really the last opportunity to go back and correct everything from the start.
All of the charts and tables have been corrected and updated. The new fixtures are also sorted out and posted above along with the results of the opening GW of Round 2.

Good luck at the weekend everyone.

Re: FISO SWISS CUP 2022-23
All good thanks TRM, just using the break to take a bit of a break.
Round 2 is wrapped up and posted above and repeated below along with all the other charts and tables and the fixtures for Round 3.
Match 1: bossdrum's good start was enough to hang on to a 6-3 (12-8) win over jimmy ching.
Match 2: Isalla continued to streak away from Doogal taking the tie 14-5 (15-5).
Match 3: jeffersdn also kept his foot on the pedal increasing his lead and taking the match 15-5 (15-5).
Match 4: Fingerpass's 6 points in GW6 was enough to just hold off DAREEL and win 6-5 (11-9).
Brightwater's 90 was by far the top scorer in GW8 inflicting a heavy defeat on Sowenna.
There weren't any 20-0 Victories this time around, which isn't too much of a surprise as it was effectively reduced to a 3 week round.
Good luck in Round 3 everyone.
