Just for fun, a competition for this weeks Open. The same format as the quiz for the Masters.

Sam has kindly donated a FISO mug to the winner.

1. Who will win the Open? (10 points - 5 points for second or T2 & 3 points for third or T3)
2. Who will finish highest? Will Zalatoris or Cameron Smith (or tie) (2 points)
3. Highest finishing Amateur: * (Aldrich Potgieter, Filippo Celli, Keita Nakajima or Aaron Jarvis) (3 points)
4. Winners score (hint: 2015 was 273) - 10 points (3 points within 2 strokes)
5. How many players will finish better than par? - 7 points (3 points if just 1 off)

Thanks to all who took part in the competition.

Q1 - nevblake and toffeelover both collect 10 points with 4 players picking up 3 points for McIlroy.
Q2 - 10 players picked up 2 points each as Smith finished highest.
Q3 - Nobody picked the Italian amateur Celli.
Q4 - Smith scored 268. Nobody got this but 6 players were close. (SamD only one off with 269)
Q5 - 73 players finished under par. No points again but an honourable mention to Sam with 75.
Q6 - 4 players picked up 4 bonus points after correctly guessing all 5 match-ups.
Q7 - 4 players picked McIlroy for 4 points.
Q8 - Not surprisingly, nobody picked Cameron Young.
Q9 - Smith was a popular pick and earned 4 points for 9 players.
Q10 - Smith managed 22 birdies over the 4 days. kcjonze was spot on with with yorkshiredragon and SamD just one away.
Q11 - Speith failed to get any eagles which was good news for 5 players with another 6 others coming close.
Q12 - No player picked Cameron Young, but McIlroy earned 4 points for 5 players with Smith getting 2 points for kcjonze
Q13 - Rahm made 8 bogeys over the 72 holes. nevblake got this right with 6 others getting close.


It was a close race with graysman coming in third place with 33 points.

Second place goes to toffeelover with 35 points.
