No. It will probably mean more variety in teams than if it were 3 per team, which is good, but it will be for the wrong reasons.

I don't agree with even a 3 player limit - I'd have a 2 per team in defence rule (inc keeper) to stop "blocks" but other than that no limits. But pricing needs to be better (i.e. prices set so that there aren't any hugely owned players - as soon as ownership goes above about 25% (maybe less) it's a sign that player it too cheap). Really it should be less than 25% but people do want to be able to pick the players the big names etc, which is fair enough, but there is a limit.

I am really interested as to what price Johnson will be for Forest. As a Cardiff/Wales supporter I saw a bit of him last season and it wouldnt surprise me if he was at somewhere a lot better than NF in 12 months time. I am certainly thinking of putting him as my 3rd striker.

I'm not sure what's happened, but it looks like Forest missed some players off their image post on twitter, anyway, they have name checked a few more players, including Colback which means Pirlo's Beard can release his excited tension (4.5m)...

There is a bargain to be had in defence, with Joe Worrall, Scott McKenna and Steve Cook priced at £4.5m. The trio played a key role in helping The Reds boast the second best defensive record in the Championship last season.

Jack Colback and Cafú are also priced at £4.5m each, whilst Joe Lolley, Sam Surridge and Alex Mighten are priced at £5m each.

Completely disagree, it wassn't counterbalanced at all. In a blank you in many cases have the chance to get a player off your bench. That was certainly the case when it was only individual players dropping out due to covid. When we had whole fixtures being postponed, yes in some cases we had to play slighly short but this was only about 3 gameweeks and was more than counterbalanced by the 10+ double gameweeks we had. All the doubles also meant the chips were also more powerful in terms of raw points potential aswell, not to mention captaincy generating more points also.

I don't think we were able to pick super teams with 80% of our squad were we? Certainly not at the start of the season when budgets were tight. I think there were a number of breakthrough seasons for young players at top 6 clubs, but thats different to being able to pick a super team right off the bat. Saka, Bowen, Kulusevski, James, Chilwell, all sort of emerged as top quality cheap assets as the season went on, it wasn't always immediately obvious before the fact. There also wasn't much pressure on budget from the premiums, Ronaldo, Lukaku and Fernandes were all dreadful value, Kane was for half a season, so were Sancho and Rashford.

You don't seem to have accounted for the fact that normal seasons have 4 or 5 DGW's. It is only the incremental DGW's that matter and so we got a handful of extra ones, all caused by unexpected disruptions of prior weeks that would have cost people points. Even getting auto subs doesn't matter, if you had Kane/Son when some of the Spurs games were unexpectedly halted, and you get Bissouma subbing in to replace them, you have lost points here, even though you apparently got a 'full team' out in that week.

So one extra chip, plus 4 or 5 extra doubles over a normal season, minus some medium level points scoring disruption to 4 or 5 earlier weeks, minus some tiny points level disruption to all 38 weeks due to individual players failing Covid tests in secret; probably translates to about 50 or so points extra over a normal season, not 200 points difference.

Personally I like it, spices things up a bit and allows for more variety!
