DGW 34 Transfers- Deadline: Sat 23 April 11:00

Can't get Mount without taking a hit (or selling Salah) so I'm looking at Ramsdale :arrow: Mendy. Plan would then be to do Wood :arrow: Pukki in 35 and then selling either Fraser or the horse in 36 to get me to 11 doublers that week. FH GW37.

I've got the exact cash for Doherty :arrow: James, hopefully prices don't move much and I can wait until after the game midweek game to make the move.

Would have liked Mount in my team as a third Chelsea, however I have two injured players and they have to take priority as I still have a bench boost to play, so Doherty :arrow: Alonso and Cucho :arrow: Mateta.

Saka > Mount

Would also like to bring in some Man City coverage (for a -4), but not quite sure where to go given UCL and Peptation.

Exactly this. I have a WC also, which clouds my judgment - WC this week could be the best play, incinerating Man U assets from my team and memory, but that DGW lure...I'll have 6 doublers without the WC, so I can't ignore that can I? There's also the issue that I'd want triple Chelsea which I'd already have; the main assets are unlikely to play the second part of the double vs Leeds as the FACup final is straight after. I'd therefore remove them all on a GW35 WC, and load up on Man C. This is tricky as I currently have ZERO Liverpool :shock:

Reading that back to myself, it all sounds perfectly strategic and logical until...those last 2 words.

Last week's transfers were planned to allow Raphina -> Mount (c). Have .2m wiggle room but will keep an eye on their prices.

Yea, I can see the conundrum. I think I'd go for the WC. Mainly because I can't see Man Utd getting anything from Chelsea based on on current form so it effectively becomes a SGW, and Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea + Spurs (even Villa..?) become more appealing than Utd...

Weghorst-> Mateta.

I have 2 Chelsea (will FH36) and don’t want to tear up what I have to get 1 more

Now deciding whether or not it's best to FH34 instead of 36/37. Need a big move to try and regain my momentum.

Team is pretty well set for 36 anyway.

Could go big on triple City, Chelsea and Liverpool for 34.

One of Doherty :arrow: James or Saka :arrow: Mount.

I think I prefer the second option, but I’m looking a little short at the back carrying Livramento and Williams.

Provided you don't have him yet, are you not able or wanting to do Doherty :arrow: Alonso and Saka :arrow: Mount?

Financially I believe that should be possible.

Cheers for the suggestion but I’ve already got Rudiger and Havertz. Just seen Rudiger is also a doubt now though!

Scrap that. I’m not playing Palace-striker-lotto.

Punting on Fast Eddie instead of Mateta and, with Rudiger now a problem, Maddison to Mount for a -4. I could stretch to Havertz, but don’t have the cojones.

Got two freebies to use and planning to stock up on Chelsea, like everyone else. I've already got James and don't want another of their defenders with Rudiger being a doubt, so intending to do one of these two...

Kulu :arrow: Mount
Kane :arrow: Werner

or

Kulu :arrow: Mount
Son :arrow: Havertz

Does anyone have Ronaldo? If so, are you holding or moving? I'm assuming he won't play (and with good reason!)

But my problem is, who to bring in instead? If I move him it could be petty much anyone except Kane and would allow Martinelli to Mount but for the life of me, I can't see a striker to bring in (they would also need to be part of a bench boost for 36).

Ronnie was always going to move on, but wasn't supposed to be an issue until 36.

what makes more sense, a, b or c?

a) Saka -> Mount, Broja -> Greenwood
b) Raphinha -> Mount, Wood -> Mateta?
c) swerve Chelsea, get Foden instead

My current team:

Dubravka (Ramsdale)
TAA - Cancelo - Rudiger (Schar, White)
Salah - Saka - Barnes - Raphinha - Kulusevski
Kane - Wood (Broja)

Assuming you can't do on value, but I'd try and keep Wood and Saka? Borja is useless, but Saka is a keeper. Tough one. Probably B for me...

Werner?

Did consider, but would prefer Havertz and Mount if I went 2 Chelsea offensive....so keep talking myself out of it. Also not sure on how much he'll produce, as see his last couple games as lucky as opposed to the norm....may sit on Ronnie actually seeing as he is back in training..

Yeah Saka is staying, i keep forgetting he's playing one of the worst teams in the league this week.
Unfortunately I'm 0.2 short of removing Broja, so now considering something a bit more drastic:

Kane and Raphinha -> Werner and Mahrez/Foden (not enough ITB to do De Bruyne)

I don't know, feels like I NEED a Chelsea mid or fwd just because everyone will have at least one, but is their double better than City's single?
Might just get Foden for Raphinha funded by Kulusevski -> Ramsey

Difficult one as Foden could be rested for UCL? Rudiger may be injured still so would him to say Alonso free up enough for a mid to mount/havertz?

unfortunately no :/

Raphinha -> Mount means I'd need to find 1.2 somewhere so Wood or Kulusevski would have to make way

Well if Rudiger if deff out, could swap for Dier as that gives 1.6m?

1FT. Contemplating Rudiger -> VVD / Laporte / James. Already have Cancelo and Robertson.

Doherty—->Alonso or Laporte

Head says Laporte but have a feeling Alonso is going to bang this GW.
