Bloody hell, I have no idea this week. I used my FT earlier and have a possible 11, but that includes Edouard and Saint-Max, so more like 9.

-4/-8 to bring Jiminez and/or Weghorst in? Or just bigger it and use the first FH? Gah too much pressure coming off a terrible captain choice this week :(

My team is a SHAMBLES I tell you. A SHAMBLES!

2 x FH and 1 x WC left, and I'm also contemplating the merits of FH vs WC this week. I agree a FH followed by a WC certainly seems inefficient, but I can't quite reconcile the awkwardness of handling Liverpool & Arsenal otherwise. Arsenal have the 'double double' in 28 & 29, and you'd want Salah & TAA back in fairly pronto. I'm just not sure it's possible to navigate the next three GWs with a WC this week.

And so, at the moment, the plan is FH27, WC28.

In a similar situation and on a -8, I'm FHing. 1 FH is enough insurance for the remaining GWs.

Think this is going to be the plan. Just did Antonio :arrow: Weghorst and King :arrow: Broja.

Now need to decide whether to do one or both of Salah :arrow: Son and/or Martinelli :arrow: JWP
Do you see Roberts playing both in the double for Burnley? Low on funds on the free hit.

Think it's going to be Salah :arrow: Son and Ait Nouri :arrow: Tarks for -12.

FH next week followed by another -4 to get Salah back and give me 7 doublers in GW 29. Haven't looked much past there but GW30 could be messy.

Yeah, I expect him to start every game now, injury permitting.

You sound like you have it worked out, but if you're in -12 territory, are you absolutely certain it's not preferable to use a chip? It'd already be worth a minimum of 12 points, and that's before you factor in any other upside.

I'm thinking Sancho. In fact, I might go with just 2 Man City, or Stones as third.

I know what you're saying, but if I free hit this week, I'll have problems to deal with next week instead. That was why FH followed by WC looked appealing a few days ago. It does again, now you've put it like that :lol:

Going Tierney :arrow: Mee and Trossard :arrow: Raphinha for a hit. Would've liked to avoid the defensive move, but questions over Livramento and Foden's gametime have forced my hand. Digne will be first sub

I'm gonna FH followed by WC next week. People may differ over what's optimal, but I think it's certainly sensible.

Also in the FH followed by WC camp.

Think I’m settled on:
Forster
Mee, Pieters, Cancelo
Mahrez, Sterling, Bruno, Son
Kane, Weghorst, Broja

My only concern is playing pep roulette with Bissouma and Amartey as my bench. Sancho and JWP for Sterling and Bissouma would solve that (JWP on the bench) but not sure how effective Sancho will be against what I imagine will be a deep Watford (that’s my assumption having not watched much of either team)

Long overdue Tsimikas :arrow: Livramento

I can field 11 so no chips this week.

I'm taking him out for Weghorst as part of a -4 I think (Keane to Mee also) . It may be that I'm on tilt from his rubbish dbl-gw but I think he's got to go - before Antonio as well.

I'm coming round to the idea again. I think I'm reluctant because if I'd thought I was going to FH this week I'd have made different transfers last week but that's like a sunk cost really.

Also wanted to hold the wildcard for the later doubles but if its going to cost me 12 points plus why not take those later on if I have to.

I think I'm with you, lets hope it works out!

Similar here, -4 for Mee and Weggie to join Pope, giving me 12 matches from 9 players..... many ways to skin a cat etc.

Yeah, I wanted to hold off on the WC too. I'm a big fan of the WC/BB combo, but I'll just have to plan for it as best I can. My team is just in too much of a state not to act now. All the best, if you go for it (and all the best if you don't)!

I've ended up on this FH team. 0.0 TB:

Pope (VC) (3.9)
Cancelo, Mee, Livramento (3.8, 3.7)
KDB, Mahrez, Sancho, Son (Gilmour)
Kane, Weghorst (C), Broja

Nothing on the bench really (unless Gilmour hauls!). I'm all in! Best of luck to all.

Can't decide between:

Foden -> Son and
Antonio -> Weghorst (-4)

or

Foden -> JWP and
Antonio -> Weghorst and
DCL -> Kane (-8)

Think the latter is best - DCL has Man City this week, and Kane looks a better bet than Son, and the idea of finally being rid of DCL and Antonio fills me with excitement.

Losing Foden as Jesus and Grealish fit again so could lose place, and isn't doing much anyway.

Weghorst (c) either way.

James > Brownhill
Lawton > Livramento

For a -8.

Prefer the first one for a couple of reasons: removing Kane would involve two transfers if you decide to do it in the future and the option involves one less hit. DCL has a double and two more fixtures to reschedule, but that might not really be advantageous given how Everton are playing

Bah, went for the FH...

3 Burnley, 3 Spurs, 2 City, 2 Utd and some fluff!

Pope (Foster)
Cancelo, Maguire, Tarkowski, Davies (Williams)
Bruno, KDB, Son, (Ramsey, Moutinho)
Kane(C), Broja, Weghorst(VC)

Thanks. Decided just to do DCL -> Weg.

Then did the other 2 as well after thinking for a bit!

Looked at my team with 5 minutes to go and took a -4 Mee in for Williams. Watch it be 0-0 or Norwich score with Williams assist.

Played my first FH, myself.

Pope (Foster)
Cancelo, Mee, Livramento (Davies, Dalot)
Son, Bruno, Mahrez, Bowen (Luiz)
Kane, Weghorst, Broja.

Pretty template, I'd imagine.
