Hasenhüttl just hinted at a DGW for Southampton in GW21.

Villa v burnley too according to Crellin

May be tempted by the early WC and use BB or TC in DGW22, saving both my FHs for later in the season

Depending on how the fixtures will be, I hope to be set for 6 doublers in gw 21 and 14 doublers + Cancelo with (-4) each in the next two gw. So hopefully it will not be messed up by injuries or yellow cards.

I think FH21 looks the best option given the teams with a possible DGW21 aren't teams whose players we really want long-term. Chelsea vs Liverpool and a rejuvenated Arsenal vs City fall perfectly for the FH as well with players from all 4 teams quite easily blanking in 21 or at least being outscored by players who double, and if you don't have Kane or Son then I think it's even more of an easier decision.

With a WC I assume!?

Trouble is by GW21 deadline, we may not know the GW22 exact double fixtures. We may already have enough doublers for GW22 as it stands, although this of course is team dependent.

Yeah I was thinking this. Does remove a transfer though, which may be a hit in gw22 effectively.

Yeah I'm looking at FH21 but the problem then is what to do with DGW22 which looks like it could be the bigger (better?) of the DGW's?

You can't play one free hit straight after the other so would either be WC22 which could get you a good team but then no BB or TC or just go with what you have and take a couple of hits.

Will see what fixtures for GW21 and GW22 are confirmed over the next couple of days.

Here is the latest from Crellin for what it's worth:
AVL vs BUR and SOU vs BRE are very likely

EVE vs LEI is likely

MUN vs BHA is fairly likely

WHU vs NOR is possible too
Some nice doubles there if it happens.........

Without wc! Otherwise I would not have (-4) in each of the two gw.

DGW22 is too up in the air atm and we might not find anything out before the DGW21 deadline.

Just working off what we know FH21 is very appealing and tbh I'm more than happy to sell Salah and a SGW player for a -4 in 22 for 2 DGW players that might include Kane/Son/Ronaldo.

if nothing is announced for DGW22 then I won't entertain a GW21WC, it will be the FH and then possibly the WC in 22 depending on what happens.

Well wow. GW22 will be great for everyone but to have that many in GW21 as well is some going. Need some info in next few days as GW21 is a long gameweek, which means some could be announced after deadline??? (would still give 10-11 days potentially)

I rolled a FT in GW19, but beginning to think that was a bad move - should’ve just transferred someone in with an eye on 22 and then played the FH this coming DGW21 to attack the (low owned) doubles. If I FH now it’ll be a wasted FT, but may still do it depending on how the chips fall.

Have 5 from those Crellin suggested: Watkins, Antonio, Bowen, DDG, Dalot.

Ronaldo is the obvious miss so alternatively might just try find some way to add him and leave it at that...

Haven’t put too much thought into this given the uncertainty but, when looking at my trusty Ben Crellin planner yesterday, it did look to me like FH21 might be the way to go. My team looks pretty good for DGW22, less so for DGW21 and, as has been said above, the players you want for 21 are probably not those you want long term.

Yep. Shouldn't have rolled the transfer this week, especially as it would have been Gallagher to Bowen.

Not so sure About that but ofc its very individual based on team, there Are a few more DGW fixtures as Crellin says/expects:

Everton Next 7 incl DGW21 is:
BRI/lei, nor, AVL, new, LEE, sou
Here you have DCL, Grey, Digne
(Example James -> Digne looks like a good trade)

Aston Villa Next 9 incl DGW21 is:
bre/BUR, MUN, eve, LEE, new, WAT, bri, SOU
Here you have Watkins, Cash, Ings

This one still possible
Man United Next 8 incl DGW 21 is:
WOL/bre, avl, WHU,bur, SOU, lee, WAT
Here you have Ronaldo, De Gea

Also when DGW 22 Liverpool has probably BRE + LEE - if you save your FH to 22 you can bring in double pool at back with TAA, Robertson (together with Matip, Van dijk - original 4). Looks like minimum 24 points On those 2 + attacking points.
Salah is out. But you wouldnt want to take FT to Get Robertson in because you will need Salah back in GW 24.

Tottenham plays in DGW 22 Arsenal + burnley/brighton that Could also br great for a Kane + Son double up

+ City plays Chelsea in a single game 22. here you can FH out Cancelo + others

With latest involement in Newcastle covid 19 im not so sure They can play against Southampton in that double GW. It hasnt been announced The DGW21 for Southampton but if EPL postpole Everton - Newcastle - and then Newcastle Are going to play Southampton instead 2 days later what have really changed?
It looks like that game also can be postponed

Ye. Two or three players either way and it's a completely different decision - could be a fixture put into GW21, or not, that makes the difference.

I'd always try and err on the side of caution with postponements very possible. Any WC use seems to have fine lines between achieving DGW attack (both of them) and long term plans (to inc Salah ofc). Uncertainly is not a planner's ally, therefore I'd like to use no chips for a while. But announcements before deadline will change my mind I'd expect.

And any FH use for me seems to result in a hit somewhere else. [That I know of - I'm sure there will be more hits desirable]

Coming round to favouring the FH and not the WC in 21, don't think there will be enough info to plan for GW22 and as that GW doesn't start until 14th Jan a WC two weeks before that date would be asking for trouble.

For me a FH in 21 looks good as my current squad doesn't look good as it stands:

My Arsenal / City players playing each other
My Liverpool / Chelsea players playing each other

I've got 10 players in two games + Livramento possibly injured!

If I can move them out for a load of DGW players (who are mostly low owned) then I'd expect to make a nice gain on my normal team + against the template team of those who don't FH.

I do think there are some good doubles (if they are confirmed) and players like DCL/Watkins/Wood/Pickford(or Pope) could do very well.

If Leicester/United/West Ham get the double too you could get a very good team and even throw in a Spurs player v Watford.

Will see what gets announced, talk on social media of some games being confirmed later today.

I mean at this point all that matters is that it’s before Saturday’s deadline, you’d be mad to make any transfers before then anyway with all the postponement risk.

Ah that’s a fair point, hadn’t considered some major use the second WC at this point. That’s true, nice to tinker early and catch some rises.

One is probably enough on present form  , interested in Sancho at the price but he would need to part of the permanent formation if there is to be one.

A FH in 21 would be nice but very dependant on fixture announcements. Id even consider WC22 if it helped as leaving it to the end of the season to plan a bench boost seems more nad more like a waste.

Not having Son is a problem. I'd like to swap Ronaldo for Son. Something like Saka/Ron to Son/Watkins. This is FH/WC territory though, carrying James as we are.

Edit: Losing my awful triple Chelsea defence is clearly the way to get Son for Saka, whilst keeping Ronaldo. That's not the least bit tricky without a chip.
