My opponent in the next round looks like an easier proposition, but as I'm currently faced with fielding only 6 players, it's not going to be straightforward.

Yea my 72 was not enough as feared. Chelsea conceding put pay to that. Dead team had Zaha and Cash off the bench for Jimenez and Auba, whilst also having a 15 pointer from Saiss. One of them cup draws...

i’m winning 13-6, we both have Salah, Jota, Trent and James, I have Cancelo, he has Ederson and Alonso, so it looks like it’s gonna be tight again, I won the previous two rounds by 1 point…

I'm 4 down to a guy who has a very similar side to me although he has 10 players to my 9 and his Raphinha/Laca/Tierney beating my Ramsdale/Gelhardt so far. In terms of differences he has Sa and I have Rudiger and Alonso. Probably need a Chelsea cs or an attacking return to sneak victory.

I am still in the Cup, having been lucky enough to draw 8m-ranked teams in two of the three rounds so far. (The other week I was minutes from going out though)

This makes it my second best ever cup season - PB is five wins.

Somehow I am also through in the ‘England Cup’ despite my opponent playing FH. Total jam!

Will see where it goes from here as I feel there will be a few blank weeks and virtual coin tosses in the near future…
