Here we go again....
You won't have to do anything extra to participate in this cup other than SIGN UP BELOW and then do your regular 'FISO Goals' Premiership Predictions for the league.
TO GET YOUR PLACE IN THE KNOCKOUT YOU NEED TO ENTER BY FIRST KICK OFF, 12:30, ON SATURDAY 16 OCTOBER
The preliminary round will be over the weekend of 16-18 October 2019
Knockout WILL start with the weekend of 22-24 October 2019
1. However many we are at by the start of the preliminary round, all those entered by that time will be guaranteed starting places in the knockout.
2. The preliminary round will sort out any byes for the first round of the knockout stages with the best scores (of those entered by the deadline) getting a bye.
3. Late entrants through this coming weekend (up to last kick off time) will be allowed entry If space permits but they will not be eligible for byes.
e.g. If 12 are entered by first kick off then we will start with a 'last 16'. There will be 4 spaces left for late entries and if they don't appear then the top scorers from the initial 12 will be fighting to be top scorers who get the byes.
HOW IT WORKS
This and my other cups are effectively informal/unofficial side competitions run by me using scores in the formal/official FISO Goals competition (which has replaced the superior informal/semi-official Premiership Predictions comps run by me and thelip in the olden days).
All ties will be knockout over two legs, home and away. Away goals counts if there is a tie and then usual tie-breakers.
SHE'S BACK
- Other than the byes for the first round, all draws will be totally random using the e-blackbag with Kylie and one other special (but not as special as Kylie) guest doing the draw each week as per previous seasons.SETS/DATES
These are based on there being no more than 16 entrants (add on 2 weeks, 14 &18 dec, if there is >16))
Set 8 Bye sorting preliminary type thingy round (16 Oct)
Sets 9/10, Last 16 (23 & 30 Oct)
Sets 11/12, QFs (6 & 20 Nov)
Sets 13/14, SFs (27 & 30 (midweek) Nov)
Sets 15/16, Final (4 & 11 Dec)
Set numbers etc are subject to change but I will try and keep them to the 'proper' sets of matches so most legs should have 10 games subject to rearrangements, snow, dragons etc. Dates given are saturdays (or midweek main day) and just give an anchor for the set dates. Bonus rearranged games etc may or may not count depending on how they fall and fit into the prediction sets.
