Ha. Oops. To be fair I’m delighted they’re followed by 45,000 people. The more FPL players they can dispense poor FPL advice to the better. See also, FFS Az and quite a few of the other so called FPL ‘experts’.

I chuckle everyone Az gets into a Twitter spat about stats and his lack of belief in them, when he’s *checks notes* FFS’s Membership Strategy Manager.

I remember a translator some years ago, where a player/manager made a long rambling speech in his native language, and the translator just said “it was a game of two halves”

Haha that's excellent. Lee talks a good game, he's quite comfortable on TV and speaking on the pods, but although that makes for nice sounding material, there's little substance behind a lot of what he's saying

Az makes me laugh, the man just constantly goes round in circles.

"You've got to back your gut over stats"

*Backs gut, has a disastrous gameweek, everyone who used the data sweeps past him*

Cue much hand wringing, wailing and gnashing of teeth on twitter/every video he's on for the next week. Next gameweek, blackbox will do a lessons learned or something similar and he will have a "good feeling" about a player, but having learnt his lesson, won't bring him in.

*Player identified hauls, he has a disastrous gameweek, everyone sweeps past him*

Cue much hand wringing, wailing and gnashing of teeth on twitter/every video he's on for the next week. Next episode of blackbox:

"You've got to back yourself, it's a lesson learned the hard way"

Cheers for that in no way contradictory advice AZ, we can learn a lot from you.

I did, it was absolutely wonderful  it's almost like taking a hit to remove good players with good fixtures in favour of one's with bad fixtures is a bad idea! Fantastic entertainment though and made for a better stream, the Toney and ings goal contributions in the final match were the coup de grace aswell

I've never watched Black Box before, but I watched that livestream last night and it was entertaining. The host Mark comes across well, despite the laughter at his expense.

The stats are dark and full of errors.

Not sure that was a clear and obvious error there on the Burnley penalty. Arsenal somewhat lucky…

For the first time this season I can watch my team win on Match of the Day.

Now if only we could play Watford every week.

How is it possible that Match of the Day have barely mentioned Salah's goal?! I was expecting to see it in every angle in super slow motion. Bizarre.

Lamptey (4.4m) looked very good, but needs someone on the end of all of his crosses that can finish them.

Robertson was impressive but at 7m is too expensive, although if he starts to hit prior seasons form is he a better buy than 7.7m Jota that I am considering ?
