Benching King and Ronaldo - in that order - sensible?

Bump
Any thoughts?
I’d typically play the attacking player and bench the defender. Any reason to deviate from that approach?

No. Players like Duffy and Livra will unfortunately sometimes be points benched. But you cannot bench Raphinha.Smurphy Paw wrote: ↑26 Nov 2021, 19:20Bump

Play Foden (WHU) or King (lei). Slightly worried about a foden 1 pointer.

Re: Who to bench (21/22)
They're playing Norwich! (though in fairness Norwich have improved, and scoring hasn't always been an issue for them)
I always ignore the double up arguments - consider each player individually - hence last week's triple up on Chelsea.

Leicester have 1 clean sheet all season and King could be on pens now

I still have Schmeichel Odds on a King penalty save?RuudTheDudeVanTheMan wrote: ↑26 Nov 2021, 23:19 Leicester have 1 clean sheet all season and King could be on pens now
Don’t worry, I can’t put the mockers on myself and ruin Schmeichel’s form. He doesn’t have any

Re: Who to bench (21/22)
Actually I think you may be right. Norwich attack not bad a Semedo, though unlucky, hasn’t done much going forward. Watford on the up, Leicester had midweek game …
Yes, think King over Semedo - thanks.

5 pts for Semedo - would have liked that but plenty of chance King can beat it. May get a no show anyway, so nice to have the points ready if necessary.

I need to start one of Hwang, ESR, Mbeumo or Livramento.
Currently have them in that order.

Tough one. I might be biased but I think I'd bench Hwang from those (even though I have him starting for me).senorjoeyo wrote: ↑30 Nov 2021, 10:01 Bench one of Hwang (BUR), Cornet (wol), Raphinha (CRY) or Benteke (lee).

If your team is the same as the one in your link, I'd be benching Williams, Allan and Livramento.

Re: Who to bench (21/22)
I would probably start him in your situation as well just on the fixture. My problem and probably yours is Hwang hasn't been involved much in Wolves attacks recently, if his underlying numbers had held up it would be a no-brainer to just back the player at home with a decent fixture.
That link is my team but I have done Williams Alonso as I want a strong bench for December, an unfortunate consequence of that though is I will be having these dilemmas for that time.

I've benched Hwang - his numbers have dropped off a cliff. No shots in last 4 games and only 7 shots in 10 games!

Re: Who to bench (21/22)
Wonder if it's worth playing Dennis... he's been in form but is flagged at 50%.
My other option is play Smith-Rowe (Man U Away), which I'm not expecting to be a goal fest but who knows... midweek games do seem to throw up some interesting results.
