Somehow I managed to miss the start of first round, but since only 2 games are played - lets try to run it from first round anyway

2020/21 thread - won by thebillfella (won with Man City, started with Milwall)
2019/20 thread - won by Rookster (won with Aston Villa, started with Reading)
2018/19 thread - won by bspittles (won with Man City, started with Oxford United)
2017/18 thread - won by Rookster(won with Arsenal, started with Bolton)
2016/17 thread - won by murf (won with Liverpool, started with it (we started late))
2015/16 thread - won by Ashers (won with Man City, started with Sunderland)
2014/15 thread - won by jimmyching (won with Chelsea, started with Bolton)
2013/14 thread - won by Knulpuk (won with Chelsea, started with Swindon Town)
2011/12 thread - won by Tacabala (won with Liverpool, started with Cardiff)

Couldn't find thread for last one (and yes it was from 2011/12 season, as can be read in 2013/14 thread)

The following text is copied from last year, so the rules are the same:

Just predict who you think will win this season's Football League Cup. Simple eh? Err, no.... you have to start with a team in Round 1 and use your 'skill' to navigate your way to the final or as far as you can. All subject to the nice twists in the rules (see below).

1. Simply pick a team that will win their League Cup round 1 tie (by replay / pens if necessary) - see draw below.
1A. Note you can only start with a team in the first round and cannot join after the first round.
2. You cannot copy someone else's pick.
3. Win and you go through to the next round, lose you go out. Simple enough for ya?
4. Throughout the comp you can only change your pick in each round to the team your current pick has drawn (e.g. if you have Barnsley and they draw Man Utd in round 3 you, and only you, can switch to Man U). This is subject to rule 2. If you draw a team that somebody already has then you are stuck with your pick. Complicated enough for ya?
5. I don't think I'll need to tweak these rules later but I reserve the right to do so!

Just copy the last list on the line which keeps the list in alphabetical order by club - club name first, then yours..
Try and keep it in alphabetical order by club.
Please check you haven't missed off anybody who has posted since the list you copied.

The deadline is when your team kicks off so late entries will get less matches to choose from. Obviously no entries after round 1 (except if we get little amount of participants, then we will start from round 2). (Sorry for no precise times for kickoffs - I'll try to update later)

Note Harrogate Town v Rochdale is postponed after positive Covid-19 cases were identified in home squad.
Harrogate will forfeit the tie if unable to rearrange game before second round.
