There does seem to be a few entries to the league by players who have not posted here, one Terminator ( sorted) and an unknown Gerry and a Larry

As per the opening post and to avoid doubt, I share the code with people who have posted on the forum (i.e. here).
Please do also save us some admin time by filling in the sign up sheet that ONZ very kindly prepared for me. I cross-reference with that. But this is the thread that most easily lets me know who someone is and whether or not they post in The Rounded Keeper, etc.

(No probs with the Terminator in question who does post and received the code ahead of time when I added them by mistake thanks to the new ‘Groups’ function in PMs. D’Oh!)

There is always space in the league for regular posters in trk. You have some posts there from 2020 but nothing this year yet. Pop in for a chat and a bit of banter, the regulars are a decent bunch and the chat is top quality.
You may wish to try your hand in the divisional championships and the FISO cup.

I’ll do a bit of admin and share the code when I’m next on the main computer.

As ONZ points out, the idea behind TRK League is an easy place to go to check on progress of those who post regularly. Or even semi regularly.
Re: Owenclass. Having not posted last season I guess the options are (i) to not include on that basis; or (ii) include and encourage to join in more regularly by (say) the end of the transfer window.

Anyone want to speak to either position?

Owenclass - hopefully more friendly for me to address this to you rather than about you - because this is as much about establishing principles for the league than highlighting you personally.
My personal view is that you’re well known on the forum, run a 5AS team, etc - just maybe not regularly in TRK - so should be included. When setting this up it’s always going to be a bit subjective and trying to gauge where the line is for entry is tricky. But also what we want to do is encourage more interaction in TRK.
I’d be happier including you, and others like you who we know but don’t join the chat very often, as a way to encourage more match day chit chat and general involvement.

Last year I suggested that we’d take a look after a few weeks to see who was joining in. I never had the heart last year to kick anyone out, because of Covid, lockdowns, etc. it was such a tough year for us all and it was something I thought unnecessary. My instinct for this year is to add and then actually do that light touch review of who has joined in and who hasn’t a few weeks in.

(Obvs, the other thing is that I have to catch up on sharing the code with the last two or three days of posters. Finally I am starting to get my head in to FPL and will be on here more to do that). Owen, that’ll include you. See you at the bar!
