The clubs get 2.8m euro every time they win a group stage tie (even a meaningless one), or 930k for a draw.

Pretty good deal, then... play for 90m and earn 30 days salary. I'd take that offer.blahblah wrote: ↑24 Nov 2021, 20:58About a month's Salah wages in his new contract?germainelefoe wrote: ↑24 Nov 2021, 20:56The clubs get 2.8m euro every time they win a group stage tie (even a meaningless one), or 930k for a draw.

Wigan’s Charlie Wyke as well. Seems a lot of it about suddenly, after Aguero recently and obviously Eriksen in the summer.jimmy ching wrote: ↑25 Nov 2021, 14:44 Traore of Sheriff collapsed whilst playing against Real Madrid last night. Another to raise concern?
There was a case in Norway a few weeks go as well. It could of course be related to the huge number of professional footballers now compared to the old days, and perhaps more training at higher intensity. Or it could be just due to better reporting and more transparency. But who knows, maybe there is a cause to be found. It would be interesting to know if there are more cases like these in other sports as well - running, cycling, ice hockey, rugby, skiing - all sports at high intensity where the heart really has to perform at max.forestfan wrote: ↑25 Nov 2021, 15:21Wigan’s Charlie Wyke as well. Sounds like all are OK, but it used to be a once in a blue moon sort of thing among healthy young footballers. Same to an extent with serious head injuries, seem to be becoming more common (watched the Raul Jimenez programme last night).
Best appointment they could have made, especially if he becomes Director of Football afterwards. And they have dodged a big bullet in getting away from the serial loser Pochettino. They have a good chance now to reboot the football side of the club, dilute the malign influence of Sir Alec and the ex-player pundits and to build something cogent for the future.Owsler wrote: Rangnick interim coach of United then? True, but presumably Rangnick will be involved in choosing the long-term manager and coaching team and he knows his onions.Bobby Fetta wrote:I'm not sure that they have yet. Europa Isthmian League it is then, in February
Simon Gleave, head of sports analysis at Nielsen Gracenote: "Going into their match against Tottenham Hotspur, Slovenia's NS Mura were ranked 378th amongst European top flight clubs on the Euro Club Index. Mura's closest equivalent in England are a number of League One clubs with Accrington Stanley, Burton Albion, Cheltenham Town and Gillingham having the closest Euro Club Index ratings."forestfan wrote:Europa Isthmian League it is then, in FebruaryRuudTheDudeVanTheMan wrote: Spurs

And to think I captained Kane last week.
When did Accrington, Burton, Cheltenham and Gillingham last play in Europe? Is there a European Autoglass Trophy or something?Ruth_NZ wrote: ↑25 Nov 2021, 20:42Simon Gleave, head of sports analysis at Nielsen Gracenote: "Going into their match against Tottenham Hotspur, Slovenia's NS Mura were ranked 378th amongst European top flight clubs on the Euro Club Index.
