I bet they're glad they got rid of the 10 shot rule. The way this is looking, almost everyone would be playing all four rounds otherwise ...

I didn't agree with that tbh, as they were in with a shot (or 10) of winning...

Augusta looks fabulous, it has to be one of the best sporting must watches every year.

It is the start of Spring to me, but a shame Paris-Roubaix isn't happening until October.....

I kinda hope they keep the crowd down to this year's level, as it looks awesome...

Masters cut: top 50 plus

Post by SamD »

On cut: top 50 and any within 10 shots of leader will progress:
https://www.racingpost.com/sport/the-ma ... ory/482785

The 10-shot rule was dropped for one season, Nov 2020.

* Edit, 2pm *
Apologies. Above info was in Racing Post on Tuesday but PGA and other sites say only top 50 and ties will survive cut after Round Two.

Olazabal made the cut :shock: I’d have guessed he was older than 55, though he was at the back end of that Faldo/Seve/Langer generation.

I was very young when he won stuff... was maybe the first golfer name I knew as a child.

Seve was kinda good πŸ˜‰

First time I met the then ex's grumpy father was when Sandy won the Masters and it was a strange bonding and she confessed that she was scared πŸ˜‚

I spent most of a Sunday convincing female flat mate and boyfriend that Faldo vs Norman was worth watching.....
