Thanks a lot for the big interest to this sidegame. I really didn't expect it could become that popular.

I fear I need to set a limit quite soon to the number of entrants. I'm not a fan of setting limits but I assume the game would be more fun, when it is not too difficult to get points for each player. So there should rather maybe exist a "second world" championship which is run parallely?

Further interest can be declared here, but I can't guarantee more places in the game at the moment. So I'd put possible interested players on a waiting list. Interest exceeded my expectations.

At first I thought the bigger the better, but after thinking about I realised, a bigger league would mean another game. The distribution of points is another with 50 players than 25/26.

If there really is such a big interest, there should be another championship parallely, but for this I'd need someone who runs this. I'll think about this point.

After some hard discussion overnight between the race control and Chase Carey (and Bernie Ecclestone) it has been decided to do a check of interest for an eventually Formula Two series.

In Formula Two, the rules would change a little bit as follow:

- There is no further point for a fastest lap available.
- There is no overall table after 1st/2nd half of the season, but one for the whole season. This would mean there are 10 “races” in a season overall.
- There are up to 40 places available.
- The number of drivers in a single racing team may vary according to the number of participants.The achieved point averages would determine the ranking of the constructors table.

Further to mention:

- There will not be a direct promotion/relegation between Formula One and Two. But Formula Two drivers would have preference for taking over any empty spaces in next seasons Formula One game, if they are fast enough (for registering ).
- There would be a separate thread to organize the Formula Two game.
- I’ll only run the Formula Two game if there are at least 10 players in at the beginning of the new Premier League season.
- If the game can be run and there should be empty spaces, further players can join the game at any time of the season.
- New „drivers“ who did not play in any sidegame on FISO yet or those without any history data are especially welcome!
- It has also been decided that there is no further formula series offered.


So if you are up to play the Formula Two game next season just declare your interest by posting your FPL history link and you’ll receive a joining code for the classic mini league in between the next few days!

Update: 23 out of 26 players joined the mini league already!

There are a brandnew McLaren, Renault and Alpha Tauri waiting on their "drivers". (Players who declared their interest to this „slide“-game). They have time until 4th September 23:59 BST to take a seat. (= joining the mini league).

After that time, drivers from lower ranked teams move up to fill the better ones. Any free spaces in lower ranked teams then are filled up by players according to their time of joining the mini league (up to 26).

If you are interested to play this sidegame, just continue posting your FPL history link please. Should there be more than 10 players left on the waiting list, I plan to set up a Formula Two Series game. That one could get started easily after the first FPL-deadline/at any time of the season.

Just one week to go until the start of the new season. Last test weekend in Jerez de la Frontera is taking place. After that, Formula One teams move to Melbourne, Australia for a season opener.

The gates are now open for a Formula Two Series-game. Those I could not consider for the Formula One game I invite particularly to this game, that works similar.
