Looks like I made the right decision with my minus 12 this week.

Ings - Kane (free)
Bamford - Watkins - minus 4
Sanchez - Lloris - minus 8
Grealish - Benson (enabler for bench) - minus 12

Just shows taking risks sometimes pay off... although my ranking on the leaderboard hasn’t changed much at the moment I’m expecting to be 200 places higher by the end of the week.

Ricky called it

He must be challenging near the top in the weekly comps after that haul.

It appears Ricky didn't enter any teams into the weekly monsters

He would have cleaned up with Bale captain acting as the ultimate differential.

I have my eyes on a different goal.

I did a one bullet team for like a tenner and have bale and Kane in the team....it has a Liverpool/Everton hybrid defence and I’m just out side the money with 3x to play tonight (all Everton defence) so will need a cleanie from the toffee men for it to have paid off for me.

Hope somebody on the forum brought him in (I also brought him into my top main team which is the only one I’m still looking at).

If I find any more tip I will post...appreciate most will discount but if it helps one person....

Just wondering how people with multiple teams are getting on, have you abandoned many and what ranking have you let them go?
It's my first time playing with multiples and it's been an education that's for sure, I think I tried to make them all too different from the start and aimed for certain teams to build my teams around. I have had 2 team hovering around 9-10k for weeks now and 2 more round 13-15k and not really making progress. Will continue to play them but hard to put effort into them so can only imagine how difficult it is for lads with huge number of teams who are different. I've no idea how bots work do haven't seen that in action.

I have 5 teams all within the top 10,000 and two of them doing reasonably well within the top 600. I think picking a core of the same tried and tested players is key when setting them all up. Look at good players on here for e.g CBN - his teams have all the same set of players with one or two differentials in each and he has a different Man City midfielder in each one of his best teams who he has captained so as to not miss out on a haul of points. Unfortunately this week Man City havent done quite so well but he has got the right idea. And they still have Southampton yet 😏 I try to make different captain choices for each of my 5 teams and I think it works if you want to get just one or two of your teams really high up. I guess the more teams you enter the more captains you can cover.I got lucky with Kane this week so good to have a few teams to get this luck. I’m still hoping for a top 100 finish in one or two teams and a nice profit.

I've got 6 teams. 5 in money. One about 7k ish I think.

Hoping for top 10. Top 2 have got a bit of distance but top 5 not beyond realms..... Teller with several teams can cover a lot of bases but surprised he / she has blown all wildcards.

Debating when to wildcard myself. Torn between budget growth and fixture swings

6 teams.

My top team is nudging 250th with Cresswell, Soucek and Bamford to play tonight, plus the usual City treble. Three others are in the top 1500 and the final two are 8k and 9k. I've kept them all running. Although there's now only an outside chance the final two may place, I'd rather still put the effort in and complete the season. Big gains can be had and this is a week where taking a risk has paid off as I picked 5x Kane captain. DGWs have been a red herring this season and with City running away with the league and having CL duty shortly, there are only a couple of players you could be confident would feature in both games.

Differentiation at the start is a double-edged sword. You have more chance to hit a performing squad, but at least an equal chance of knocking yourself out of the running very early. Prefer the long game personally; pick a core of players you think will be the standout performers and build differential from there.

My best team now one that was 300th two weeks ago thanks to captain Mahrez. Funny old game.

Big gains to be had if you can hit the right players; there will be a good number of managers smarting over certain City assets this week. I think Mahrez only has around 3% ownership too? The mini GW 29 could be another significant differential.

After a 101.5pt week, my top side is now 142nd. Left a +14 swing on the bench too. Outside chance at a top 50.

A good time to use the wildcard with those Bamford and Son injuries - otherwise you're going to be really struggling to get close to a full team out next week.

yes, it is a good possible moment to use the wildcard. I am just not sure how to go about it.
I've got a couple teams down to 4-5 players for GW29, where no question it is wildcard time.
But with say 8 healthy players for GW29, maybe a points hit and I can get to 10 players, probably it is worth saving the wildcard isn't it?

What's the view on on this?

what is the state of your team going to be like if you target gw29 with a wc

not sure I want players from the majority of teams playing next week.

I am down to 5 (assuming son and bamford crocked) with 2 free transfers to bring in. got a sense there is not many players that would justify a -4

I’m happy with 9 players using no hits. As Yorkie says a lot of the teams playing you won’t really want their players after wk 29

that is a good point you make, the teams were I played the wildcard are my 'worst' ones so I didn't think much about it, but the squad I am putting together for 29 doesn't seem much appealing moving forwards

I am looking at -4 to bring a combination of Kane/Aubameyang/Lloris/Martinez, which I think is ok

Yeah it's worked well so far as it's dragged a lot of my teams into solid money places. All for nothing if Kane goes off.

Finish the week 29th and 37th. Am bobbing around the 25th-70th range but can’t seem to break higher than that. Not sure whether to just play sensible and try to consolidate around about where I am or shoot the moon with some crazy picks 😆

Yep. Fixture changes and international break provide for some budget opportunities hopefully. More concerned with getting the right team at end than budget gain tho

GW31 looks the optimal time to me as can get one more week out of the Leeds and Villa assets.

Agree re. getting team right. Players like Gundogan mean the advantage you might have had has been eroded :(

After spending much of the first half of the season in or around the top 100 I had some dismal weeks where my two best teams were around 500’s and 600’s. Slowly climbing back up now with my best two 208th and 334th. Both being wildcarded this week and I have enough budget to get a beauty of a squad before I’ve even increased the budget furthermore. Just need to work out my week by week transfers now. Got just under two weeks to ponder....
