Is it possible for a player to score 100+ points & still lose the frame?

Re: Fantasy 2020 World Snooker - Now running
Regarding losing with 100 points, I used to have games like that on my table top snooker table when I was about 8... and there were only 10 reds!
Black now on the cushion, is the Davis/Taylor finale meant to be? Edit, no, it ends with a fluke. Or does it?

Re: Fantasy 2020 World Snooker - Now running
As Alan McManus predicted before a frame was played, it comes down to the final pink and black, albeit with a snooker needed... and Wilson prevails. How does he find anything for the final after that though?

Who would Wilson rather play? Ronnie blows hot and cold, but is unstoppable when he clicks into gear. Selby is just the ultimate long match player.

One explanation...
Wilson did suggest “a few beers” in his post-match interview!

Re: Fantasy 2020 World Snooker - Now running
He gives a good interview does Ronnie. Managed to catch the final frame after the CL match. I'm trying to get my youngest boy into watching the snooker (and supporting O'Sullivan so was a good frame to watch) and he gets in-house commentary from me explaining the game. I think it's working as when the match finished he straight away asked when the final was!

Re: Fantasy 2020 World Snooker - Now running
Because he doesn’t have the robotic mentality of a Phil Taylor, or a Davis or Hendry for that matter. He’s more the flawed genius of an Alex Higgins, a George Best or Gazza etc. but he’s managed to avoid their ultimate self-destruction, in fact “semi-retirement” has brought out the best in him. He’s still managed to have longer at the top, and more majors in total, than the players who had really dominant eras.sportsmeister wrote: ↑14 Aug 2020, 22:14 Not quite sure how Ronnie has only managed to win the World title 5 times - surely he should have had a Phil Taylor style dominance
