Hi,
I just want to know if it is safe to uninstall the default apps installed in my Macbook like Garageband, iMovie, etc. I don't use them so I was thinking of uninstalling them.
This is my first time with Macbook so I don't want to do anything that could affect my system performance. That is why I am looking for advice.
Thanks

Don't use a mac myself but I can't imagine any reason why uninstalling applications like that would affect your system performance. I'd say go ahead and remove anything you don't want or don't use.

You are forgetting Apple are evil and want to control everything so it won't be super easy.Mav3rick wrote:Don't use a mac myself but I can't imagine any reason why uninstalling applications like that would affect your system performance. I'd google it and see if there is an uninstall guide, possibly on youtube.

Yes it is totally safe. No issues whatsoever . If you don’t need them any more or you are not using them then you should uninstall them.
But I would suggest using the garageband app. It is quite fun to use even if you have no knowledge, you will find it fun. If I had a Macbook I would never remove the garageband from there. But the truth is I don’t have one and I can’t use it on any other platform. It is compatible with MacOS and iOS only.

Re: Uninstalling in Macbook
I respect your suggestion but I have no idea how to use this app right now. I have a passion for music and I have heard a lot about this app as well, so I will try it maybe in the future but I have to let it go for now. If you don't have a macbook then read this guide here, it tells you how you can make this happen. Hope this helps and Cheers!alexawiliams784 wrote: ↑30 Apr 2020, 18:10 But I would suggest using the garageband app. It is quite fun to use even if you have no knowledge, you will find it fun.
