A bit strange without crowds at Ally Pally and a mixed bag in terms of quality to be honest... but plenty of big names toppled, and what a match between MVG and Cullen last night. The underdog led 3-1, missed two match darts (both bullseyes, in separate legs) and held the first throw in the deciding leg, but failed to score substantially at all and the man in green took it comfortably. Would have been wide open had he gone out.

Equally entertaining was the match between the Pole and the German where they were both left chasing double 1, pub-style, in the deciding leg of the match!
