Yep, I came on expecting to see Don't Stand So Close To Me by The Police and It's The End Of The World (And I Feel Fine) by REM - 2 of the high climbers on somecSpotify chart type thing apparently.

Mentioning Coventry..... Ghost Town is quite apt.

There are way too many songs for this situation.

I thought burning blue soul was brilliant in parts but a bit patchy. Soul Mining and Infected are fantastic albums though. I've got quite a large selection of 12" singles from that era as well, but then listened to virtually nothing of their since.

You have time yo listen to loads now? My vinyl was lost in a loft many years ago amid Divorce.....

There were loads of really good 12" stuff from then: piano version of Immaculate Fools and dance track from Song to the Siren are much missed....
