I spent a day at the seaside there in the late 80's at the time the video was shot. I could not remember the town name though so I had to ask my sister who is a Morrissey fan.

I did a job in Southend in the middle of winter once. If you think its depressing in the summer wait til you see it on a wet week in the middle of February. I think its possibly the worst place I've ever been in my life

Next one.....

(Last few days have been like Sundays of olde?)

https://youtu.be/nLTO-Fmh1eE

No points for who wrote it. But 1 points for the English title of that person's song which was covered in 1973ish as a huge hit; and 2 points for the original title.

That's a happy song 😎

Scott was so very underrated..... Although he (Walked Bros) sold more than The Beatles in the 60s.

David Byrne is awesome, but Tina Weymouth is one of my favourite Bass players. She’s up there with the 2 Kim’s (Deal and Gordon)

Did you see her documentary on bass through history?

Also she couldn't play bass when she joined Talking Heads.

My personal no 1 bass player. Jean-Jacques Burnel ( also song writer) , I have seen The Stranglers a few times live and they/he is always awesome.

went to Warwick Univ so I spent a fair bit of time in Cov (including Highfield Road).

The Bug and Black Bat, in the shopping centre, was the scariest pub I think I ever walked into.

I had assumed this thread was to suggest things like Hey Mycorona (I wonder what the edited dance moves would look like).

It seems I misunderstood.
