FISO H2H Draft Divisionals Season 7 Sign Up - Complete

Post by Talkie Toaster »

Season 7 will run from GWs 17-26 (14th Dec - 15th Feb)

This means that the drafts will take place during the week commencing Sun 8th Dec. There's no hard deadline for signing up but please bear in mind that the leagues will need to be determined by the weekend of GW16 in order to appoint admins for the leagues, for them to set the leagues up, get everyone joined and arrange the drafts. Also some numbers of entrants work better than others so sign up below as soon as you can to ensure you avoid disappointment.

New players are most welcome so here is a brief summary of how the game works: Everyone plays in a league of 6 (or 5 plus an fpl AVERAGE player) for 10 GWs, so you will play everyone else in the league twice. Head to Head scoring is used. After 10 GWs the top 2 in the League are promoted and the bottom 2 relegated for the next season. We will play 3 seasons in all over the course of the 2019/20 Premier League Year, so to play in all 3 you will need 3 spare slots from your allocation of 10 private draft leagues.

As the seasons are short we will leave Trading Options Off. (There doesn't seem to be much trading going on in the other Draft Leagues on FISO so far.)

Here is how the Divisions provisionally line up for Season 7:

DIVISION ONE

Dino1980 IN

Lapsed Players If you played in Season 5 but missed Season 6, then if spaces exist you will be placed in a league as close to, but not above, the position you would have been entitled to in Season 6. Priority will be given to those who sign up first.

I can give it a go, but I am not so good at FPL let alone draft. I may need some pointers ( apart from picking the best players).
Thanks TT :)

The first pointer is to attend the draft :) (aye taivt  ) So you can see how your team is building and what players you should next focus your bid on.
Everyone should give it a go, especially if your fantasy team is not doing so well, like mine, the main draw card being there is no urgency in transfers,
no prices and the draft order determines if you get your intended player so you can tinker your team at any time before the deadlines.

Cheers ONZ. The more the merrier. :D
There was a basic strategy thread a couple of years ago when most of us didn't know what we were doing, but it included an excellent write-up by dino1980 which is still worth looking at for pointers viewtopic.php?f=376&t=124786&start=8 (Although premium defenders do seem to get picked a bit earlier than he was suggesting nowadays.). Any questions about the rules though, just shout out on here and somebody will help.
