Don't think I need to worry about that rule. All my Sheff Utd players are enablers anyway

Re: Block League episode 10 (19/20 season)
I read Boruc, but had assumed Travers, who also scores goals at the other end
I think it was Boruc, Travers then Beg to be sold and 4th for Loaning out.
Can I tweak this tomorrow?
Team is in\pending and Public....

Rule 4 has been dumped?

I assume we can tweak tomorrow. Advantage Liverpool (who to pick) and Norwich (who to drop!)

Re: Block League episode 10 (19/20 season)
I'm with Maldini - I don't see a good reason for that rule 5E and I respectfully suggest that it gets ditched. If you want to pick players who get guaranteed zero points then I think you should be able to do it. At the end of the season, for example, if you have some transfers in reserve (and this game tends not to burn transfers) then why not put in your lowest priced defenders to enable better cup final players?

Found it.
Really sorry about being late but I thought I was already in. Just had a panic trying to find the log in which was of course very clear to see.
I'm in America at the moment and it's 4:00am!

Re: Block League episode 10 (19/20 season)
Am re-asking a point of order.
I have the joys of a Norwich block. Started the season with GK and a back 3 (quell surprise) putting in one of the CB (both were injured) in the expectation he would return soon. He did, and is now injured again and out for a while. Other CB also seems to have reinjured himself.
So it looks like I will only have 2 playing Norwich defenders for quite a while. Am I required under the spirit of the game to put in one of the likely replacements so I have a full cohort playing? Quite happy to do it. I mean, what could possibly go wrong in the next fixture...

Re: Block League episode 10 (19/20 season)
In theory you can do whatever you like as long as the selected defenders are all Norwich (playing, injured, dropped, whatever). Can carry an injured bloke for as long as you like if you think it isn't worth a transfer (or two) to replace him.raoul wrote: β04 Sep 2019, 10:52 Am re-asking a point of order.

My theory is that you can only win or challenge in this if your team keeps a lot of CSs. So therefore it pays to maximise your 'playing' defenders so you get maximum benefit from that run of CSs. I had 5 defenders for a time last year (Palace with Schlupp in midfield) so I could maximise all those CSs. Shame they stopped happening when they had 5 playing defenders and I was on board but it was the right 'shit or bust' tactic to employ.

Re: Block League episode 10 (19/20 season)
thanks murf. For the record I have put a new boy in who should probably get a game. Norwich do not have many defenders in tff and 3 of them seem to be long term out, so even if I wanted to play 5 of them I doubt it would be feasible!murf wrote: β04 Sep 2019, 11:14In theory you can do whatever you like as long as the selected defenders are all Norwich (playing, injured, dropped, whatever). Re: Block League episode 10 (19/20 season)
for most goals conceded after 4 games Norwich are already bottom. After 38 games its probably safe to say they will be in the bottom 6, unless something dramatic changes so good luckraoul wrote: β04 Sep 2019, 12:20thanks murf.
