scheduled maintenance tfc
21.30 june 27 - 0800 june 28
slightly disconcerting to see it that close to deadlines but at least if they do a GFM you only miss sri lanka v south africa and it is a weekday.
just thought i would highlight it for those playing casually whilst working, if it is a breakfast table jobby for you it may be back too late!

oh dear, so they have changed it!
so now it finishes on a saturday morning when i presume the office may be unmanned.
fingers crossed but that seems pretty daft even for GFM!

actually it may be the telegraph, not sure which system is being 'maintained' nor whether it has to go via a circuitous route, probably just GFM i would have thought, does anyone else know?
hopefully they have a plan in place if it gets effed up but i kind of fear they won't. don't really want to be doing transfers without seeing the line ups and who is batting first for this one (pak vs afg)

Re: scheduled maintenance tfc
well the site is still up, if we had an sdt transfer system there wouldn't be an issue.
given that they won't accept backdated transfers when it is their fault these days i decided to jump and make my transfers now for tomorrow morning.
i suspect it will be irrelevant and i will just be left sweating on team news when i needn't have done.
however all of the players i have moved around are fully expected to play and it is generally a captain change.
thats my risk.
the potential upside is that with maintenance not yet started, every chance of an overrun or the system being down till after the first game starts, possibly even the second.
we shouldn't be in this position having paid our entries but it is gfm & telegraph.
has anyone else taken the same drastic approach and gamble? i simply trust the likely line ups more than i do the providers!

its now 23.30 and no sign of the overnight maintenance (due to start 21.30) at the most recent promised time!
who knows if and when it is coming, after all it is GFM/telegraph combo!

Only affected people that had Telegraph accounts (not fantasygame accounts), so presumably you were ok.

Re: scheduled maintenance tfc
thanks for the info.
i saw no downtime, however i believe i have a telegraph account.
difficult to know what is going on at times, for instance i altered my address but cheques were still sent to the old address, i then found that somehow the old address had been retained despite the new one showing correctly.
